Hey ijevin. Like the vids but couldn’t help but notice at 17:58 you have a cow head in your inventory . Those are very hard to get . Also some other weird things like the saddle in the chest which doesn’t happen often occurred. If you are going to use creative to help the video out just tell us . Don’t lie u did u creative this video . Like idk bout u but to get that much steak without a cow farm is hard and u would’ve needed to find a lot of cows. Just tell us you are going to use creative
Hey Jevin, I know last season of HC you were struggling to get anything done and were having a real hard time. Season 7 was your cocoon phase so that you could emerge into the amazing Content Creator you were always meant to be now. You have been knocking it out of the park with every video you have released and it is an absolute pleasure and joy to see you finding your love for Minecraft again.
The horse's name should be Chunk. Because it's always a slime chunk wherever you and horse are, and it would be fantastic if you could both figure out how to do the truffle shuffle in MC.
I'm really excited for this series! I've been following the Let's Plays you mentioned as well, and I'm really hyped to see a solo series from you as well. Looking forward to seeing all the cool builds! (Also for the horse; in honor of the dragon-themed sponsorship, maybe give him some Purple Leather Armor and call him Spyro?) ETA: I also wanted to mention I appreciated your talk about how much Minecraft has changed! I've been playing a lot in the new update, and one of the things that was most striking was how drastically different everything felt. I do like it, and it was a good time for a change, but it was definitely jarring, especially after so long since the last major world gen update. I hesitate to say things look more "realistic" now as it's Minecraft, but some of the stunning views I've stumbled across on my own world have really solidified this update as a positive change for me.
Man... I got a HUGE dose of nostalgia stumbling across your channel again Jevin! I remember watching your videos when I was in middle school! I turn 24 tomorrow. Times flies! Love how you're still making awesome minecraft videos!
I love this starter base! I’m still too much of a coward to go caving in the new update, but I’m in awe of the lush caves and deeplate caverns. Amazing.
Jevin, this is absolutely incredible! Excited for a solo world. Between your incredible HC content and now this with commentary and different forms of creativity, I’m in love. Also glad to hear a Fwhip shout out. Great video. Thank you!
You don't collect the cave vines as such, but if you collect the glow berries, you can right click the lower surface of a block while holding them, and it will place a vine. Why use silk touch to collect grass? Just use shears! The roots attached to the ceiling are called hanging roots. Love the base!
I'm doing kind of the same thing! I found an awesome cave in a hill that pokes out in several different places, overlooking the surrounding plains area and so I'm making a winding base, filling it with mossy cobble and glow berries and whatnot ☺
I just found your channel again after years and I’m so glad I did! I remember coming home from school to watch your super flat survival series (the first season)! so glad to see you’re still making videos :)
Your thoughts on the update were super interesting to hear and your starter base is looking very pretty! I'm looking forward to see where you take this series :)

I love how you have set up your videos, you may not have done it for this reason but seeing your coordinates on screen is helpful because I started a play through with this seed and knowing where some things are at is great, haven’t played since 1.8 so this has been a blast. Hopefully the algorithm blasts this series to people!

Lovely start Jevin! And about the update ups and downs, change is hard. Especially something that has stayed so relatively same at its core. With life having moved in some really strange ways these past couple of years, I think the familiar is part of our collective comfort zones and pushing that boundary, literally in some instances, feels like being untethered. Can be both scary AND exciting! Good luck finding your feet and feeding your creativity along the way. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate your content.
