Short introduction to the carbon & kevlar bash plate from 3D Moto in Poland. I met owner of the company in Albania when he was testing the baseplate on his Ténéré. I looked at it and said I'd break it in few moments which 3D Moto things is almost impossible. So when I got back I bought one for testing.
Let's see how long it will hold. There are effectively two camps when it comes to carbon. One things it will break quickly and the other bunch things it will work very well.
Let's see for ourselves!

Any update on this? How did it held up?
Can you tell us more about the Bash Plate now? Does she hold?
I really like this one, gives also a bit of a Rally look and does not weigh alot. I agree the price is really good. I can easily see this costing 500€ from other manufacturers :)
I have the Outback lower bars also. Can I ask if it was difficult to trim them down at the places where there is interference? Thx
Hey, adjusting the bashplate to fit the Outback was really easy with angle grinder. It’s hard material to cut 😂
Interesting part. Looking forward to the update after some use.
One question though, how did you attach the rotopax at the rear? I thought you had to use the x-frame for that!?

Aaaahhhhh! That’s a pure magic! I’ve super customized the Outback motortek rack! Welded some brackets here and there! Should probably do a video on that one!

I just ordered a perfect fairing one peice front fender, can’t afford any Carbon though 🙈.
On the other hand I would F$€^%# that bash plate up quickly 🤣
Hehe 😜 I’ll check one piece fender… For the bash plate I’m starting to thing I’ll need to try quite hard to break it. It is dam tough!
@@FARANDFURTHER Nice, you should check my winter trial riding video. Did fine lowside sat 40kph, bent my skid plate side and scratched a lot of plastic 😅.
But the underside is quite beaten up, have that in my GPmucci video, not sure the carbon fiber would eat that up.
Will wait until you done some serious enduro style testing 😬
@@everythingtenere I’m thinking the same to be honest. That’s the reason I took it for testing. I cracked 4mm aluminum on the Dinaric! But the 3DMoto things I won’t break it. Not sure…. I know how my 4mm aluplate looks like 😂

No jsem zvědavý jak dopadne po nějaké ráně kamenem.
To já taky, proto jsem ho tam dal neboť jsem 3D Moto řikal, že to musim zlikvidovat. Ale musím říct, že se to nezdá, ono je to fakt tuhý, uvidíme. Myslím, že to křupne, ale třeba když najedu přímo na šutr nebo tak něco. Při normálním ježdění, kdy jen lítají šutry to vydrží.
Nechám se překvapit 😂
Můžu se zeptat na update, jak se osvědčilo@@FARANDFURTHER? Rád bych pořídil nový kryt motoru, ideálně něco vysokého, aby zároveň zakryl svody - a tohle vypadá jako zajímavá alternativa. Nelítám rally apod. :), ale nějaký TET projedu každý rok a bych nerad, aby hned rupnulo... Moc díky za feedback!
