    Bless you for scrubbing the potatoes. I've been watching baked potato air fryer videos and just YELLING at the dirt encrusted crimes against food safety being shared. Extreme appreciation from Australia. (And of course thank you for the wonderful recipe)

      Hi Mark! Thank you for watching and yes! Air Fryers are so convenient for making smaller portions and having to worry about firing up the big ol' oven. We hope you and your twins enjoy these potatoes!

    NICE and Simple, Mia. I like Potato Croquettes in the Air Fryer too. I usually buy the Frozen Variety but you can make your own Potato Croquettes too. Perhaps you guys should do a Recipe Video for freshly made Croquettes. Thanks very much for sharing. God Bless. 🙏🇬🇧

    Great video ! For the mashed potatoes can almond milk or 2% milk be substituted?

    Just made them, but even tho I had smaller potatoes, they weren’t done after 30 minutes, not even 45. when the finally were done, after almost an hour they’ve been very yummy.

      Hi there! I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work! Please reach out to our customer service team: support@cosori.com so we can help identify the issue. Has there been any other issues with making other foods? It may be a heating element problem if you have experienced other instances of food not cooking correctly.
      Baked potatoes are a standard and we test them regularly, so it should have fully cooked after 30 minutes at 400F in this model. Did you slice the top of the potato and wrap it in foil?

      @@CookingwithCosori Thanks for your reply. Let me give it another try soon and see if it works as you've outlined. I'm not panicking about it as it could just have been a one off glitch. But I will keep you posted and again thank you for your helpful follow up.

      Same happened to me.
      30 mins at 200C. The skin wasn't crisp, and only the first 1-3mm of the potato was soft.
      Had to cook them again for another 30 mins (at 205C this time.) Which finally finished them.

    I use bacon fat instead of olive oil. It adds another layer of flavor.

    I've got some large red sweet potato. Would they cook for less time if I made them the same way? 🙏Tia 👍

    • @CookingwithCosori
      @CookingwithCosori  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Jude! For a large sweet potato, it should be the same time, however if it's very big (as some are) I would increase the time! If the ends are much more narrow and pointy, you can choose to slice those ends off! Still wrap them in foil and add your desired seasonings before wrapping and test it after the original 30 minutes with a fork! It may need an additional 10 - 15 minutes for super giant ones!

    Can you do just a single potato or do you have to have multiple potatoes? I know, odd question, but I'm new and want to ensure I do not overcook the food or damage the fryer.

      Hi there! You can definitely do 1 russet potato! The time and temperature will stay the same. Hope this helps and have fun cooking! - Chef Mia

    Well, you’re pretty much cleaned the pigmentation of the potato, because honestly, the only thing you have to do is just rinse it.

    The timing didn’t work for me. I only baked 3 potatoes but didn’t cook through so I ended up microwaving them a few mins more.

    • @CookingwithCosori
      @CookingwithCosori  2 роки тому +1

      I'm sorry to hear that Mel! Maybe your potatoes were bigger than mine. If they come out under again, I suggest air frying the potatoes for 10 minutes longer. Hope this helps and happy cooking! - Chef Mia

      @@CookingwithCosori I ALWAYS check the softness of the potato then return it to the AF for 10 mins. (I buy the larger sized potatoes in the bag from Sam's Club.)

    You wrap a potato in foil and you no longer have baked potatoes, you have steamed potatoes! You had my attention until that point.

    • @CookingwithCosori
      @CookingwithCosori  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Anne! Traditionally when we make baked potatoes in normal convection ovens, aluminum foil is also used. But you are correct in that the foil does help produce a little steam to ensure the potatoes are cooked all the way through! If you choose to bake the potatoes without foil, that's totally fine, just be aware that the skin may become brittle and dry rather than crispy. Hope this helps! - Chef Mia
