Every time this is said, some people always brings up the obvious exception of Brady. Micheal Jordan was the 3rd pick in the NBA draft and no one could ever imagine that he’d be the best IMO to lace em up. Tom wasn’t that great when he got drafted but his will and work ethic is damn near unmatched. The Bears haven’t even been able to draft a Tom Brady in the 1st let alone in the later rounds so hopefully they corrected it with Caleb.

I really wanna see Ryan Poles go after Matthew Judon from New England. Even though Booker’s making some progress and Demarcus Walker is just OK as a body on the defensive line, having Judon & Sweat as the starting 2 DEs, with Booker & Walker as the backups… that’d be perfect, IMO.
he has a lot of the intrinsic qualities that make a good player. he's gonna be a project though. booker has to bulk up more while staying lean to work in this defense. a hard ask for linemen, but then if his body can handle it he will be good.

As Bears fan he currently 3rd string but I feel like he going to get more up to 2nd string and overtake Robinson spot as backup DE. Not big on Robinson hasn’t shown nothing for two straight seasons. Last season by mid to end he wasn’t even suiting up anymore

Booker did not "Dominate." His rush never really effected the QB. Every throw was on time and unhurried. He did not lift the OT. The LT had problems slipping on the turf the entire time, because of his shoes. Booker neither recorded a sack or caused a fumble. The fumble was caused by Byron Cowart and Booker tackled the QB long after the ball was already on the ground. He did time a few snaps at the exact right time and he does have good hand use. However, he is often the last one to react. Not saying he won't be great; but, it might be wise to curb expectations some.

On the first play you showed Booker was totally UNBLOCKED by the the first two guys closest to him and then he got easily pushed straight back by a halfback . WHY are you giving us that? 😂😂

He's a rookie No rookie is a completed project I think people are getting too caught up in size and not understand his power Dominique Robinson probably outweighs him by 15-20 lbs, but is not physically stronger. This kid's motor plus his underrated power and technique will get him on the field sooner than later getting valuable snaps this season
