Julius was a pass rushing guru. A 6’7 295 pound defensive lineman with speed, strength, and athleticism. He’s definitely one of the greatest defensive ends of 2000’s.
Julius Peppers was a true freak of nature: 6’7 283 pounds with 4.6 speed and a 37.5 inch vert to boot. He’s truly a player that would dominate in any era.
December 1997, I had the privilege of playing in the NC/SC high school shrine bowl with JP. The dude was 6’5 and 240 with O percent body fat. He was a freaking tailback in high school. He played D End in the shrine bowl. And I remember him out running all the running backs in practice. Then the dude goes to college and hits another growth spurt. JP is hands down one of the most athletic freaks to ever play. He literally could play any position and excel
One of the best decisions I made was subscribing to this UA-cam channel; it's other channels out there, but they don't put out videos like these about the players, not unless from the NFL or the NFL network; the videos are not to short or too long and they are full of action and narration by the players themselves and not some AI crap making these videos awesome; good job creator/creators
17:27 imma say this rn and I’ll say it again and again. After looking at these stats. There won’t be another player on defense that can match the athleticism of Julius Peppers. Cause that man right there is dominant, athletic, versatile, and unique as idk what. You can’t name me one player that can match that level of intensity as Peppers. Cause this man was all over the field. The only DE in NFL history to record 100+ sacks, and 10+ INTs in their career. Unreal. Just un-freaking-real. And un-freaking-believable.
It is about time he gets one of these videos. He’s the most underrated where that word gets thrown around a lot he is the definition of underrated. He was not just good but great on all three of his teams. He was always extremely healthy and he was a genuine freak of nature 6’6 and was just as fast as a lot of TEs.
One of the GREATEST players ever! Did EVERYTHING, an elite basketball player. 6’7, look at his speed w/the ball-mans has 6 return TD’s & 11 INTs as. D-End! Enhanced version of Myles Garrett. My childhood 💪🏽💯

Idk, that's how I feel about the Ravens, Raiders, and Steelers - but not so much the Bears... I feel like the Bears used to inspire that kind of fear, but they just don't now 😅 I think it's because the type of team they're trying to become is so much different now
@@Frosty_tha_Snowman You cannot have the raiders in that list and also not include the bears. That stud linebacker core for the bears right now, for the first time in awhile not homegrown, and all studs since they came over from Philadelphia and Buffalo.

This guy was dropping into coverage and intercepting passes and returning them for touchdowns as a 300lb defensive end, gotta be one of the best athletes the game has ever seen
As a Panthers fan, we were sad when Julius left us. We knew even if our offense struggled - him and the defense would keep us in the game to have a chance to win. It's great that he was able to retire as a Panther and was enshrined in the Panther's HOF and NFL HOF. #KeepPounding🔥

Lance Briggs, another core member of those bears teams, even visited Willowbrook once.
12:48- 12:58 I remember seeing this and I was shell shocked on how much speed he still had in the tank to get the pick six. That was so awesome to watch. What’s interesting was that he was supposed to come back to Carolina in 2014 to wrap it up but Mike McCarthy called him up and asked him to play a few more years up north but as a Green Bay Packers LB. And boy was it entertaining. He played more as a OLB in coverage just as much he did as a pass rusher.
A lot of people overlook just how much playing basketball helped peppers on the football field how it helped with his soft hands to get all those interceptions and how it improved his athleticism and foot work to help him get around people. Some of those things can't be taught in football alone this is why I've always encouraged young athletes to play multiple sports.
