Sometimes I get disappointed by the amount of trash people leave behind, but I can’t control the actions of others, just myself. That’s when the trash bag comes out. What town are you fishing by? We live near rock Island and have fished the Rock River several times and havent been able to hook up with anything except two large mouths and a couple of catfish. lol Not sure if Im just using the wrong bait or in the wrong place/time.

Just came across your video and actually go to the college right near where your fishing! Great to see some tips on what locals are using! I usually catch some carp just north of the dam by the piers (also just dropped a sub)
@HookedOnTugs You should definitely come fish the Illinois side of the river I live in a town that has a park on an island on the rock river which has amazing fishing plus it’s close to a dam.

I live is southern Wisconsin, mainly fishing the rock river here. You are close to where the rock enters the Mississippi?
Great looking walleye. It sure looked healthy and well fed.
Little editing helped the colors pop but it sure was a beautiful fish
We should go fishing. I'm a veteran that suffers from PTSD and depression and fishing is my favorite thing to do to relieve the symptoms.
