Just got the tow hitch installed in my Model Y. What a total pain in the ass. It shouldn’t be this difficult to access the tow hitch. The service guy said, use the screen inside your car to open. 😮

It looks like the paint was scratched on the bottom when putting the cover back on. They should have a cover that has holes for the hitch and cable connector.
I bought my car back in November and I have still yet to find out how to remove that good Video thank you for your help

Where can I buy this hitch. Cannot find it on the tesla website. My model y has the hitch receiver
Why would Tesla allow something so poorly designed on an expensive car like this??? Even the dealer-provided Teslia instructions page for its removal is poor. The video was very helpful.
What a flimsy solution for what is not exactly a cheap car (in absolute terms).
