PRO TIPS (from my experience in the salon) -Process 30 mins + to get best results -Shower caps keep the No 2 from drying out during treatment time -Don’t shampoo after No 2. Instead, just thoroughly rinse it from your hair and proceed with conditioner, then rinse again. Wait a day to shampoo -Sleep with an overnight deep conditioner or oil treatment in your hair to replenish the lost moisture and to seal in the new strength brought on by the Olaplex. Have fun, stuffs awesome Love using this treatment on my clients as a haircut glide. Leaves the hair so shiny and strong, too
@@nobodyaskedyou9004 "How you going to believe" that the instructions a company gives for a beauty product can match everybody on the globe's different types of hair? Delusional. My advice above is for people with hair that is dry compared to the UK models used by Olaplex. PS- get a hobby
Sharon Dole, I am a great fan of Olaplex! I just love it. Thanks for the lovely tips! I would love to ask which is your hair colour? I am in love with it! Could you tell me, please?
I heard some stylists hate olaplex bc clients use #2 or 3 and keep it in 24hrs or more. The next touch up won't be the color they want. Its off. So follow directions, dont leave in 24hrs and do it sev times a week. Just follow thr directions.
Using Olaplex for more than it says on bottle will not hinder or effect your color in the salon as you shampoo it out and if anything Olaplex helps with your color cause it keeps your hair healthier which means your hair color will be more shinier and healthier looking. It has a pH of 3.5 so your cuticles will be mostly sealed down locking in any hair color you have in your hair
It says That for when you rinse out bleach and not to shampoo when rinsing color but if you’re doing it alone shampoo first and shampoo again afterwards following with conditioner
rasp berry I use the total stand alone treatment. I find it more effective if the no 1 has been soaking for 10 minutes before I put in no 2. The no 2 is great for post treatment of bleaching and toning at home though.
@@nickprince9119 so is no2 a stronger version of 3? I use 3, and I love it, but I’d like to get a stronger version. I very stupidly got one of those REVLON blow out brushes, and it TRASHED my hair. Broken and just damaged. I have 2c/3a hair and it’s completely fucked up my curl pattern.
@@mortisure4081 yes no.2 is a more potent version of the no.3. But if you haven’t heard of this product you should try it! It’s called K18 and it is a leave in hair mask that repairs and rebuilds the hair in just 4 mins! After 4-6 uses of this your hair will be renewed permanently! Until it’s damaged again!! It’s the only product that can actually bring hair back to near virgin strength!
It doesn’t make much of a difference past that 45 min- 1 hour mark. I use it once a week and throw a bag over my head to keep it from drying out. If it dries while it’s on your head, it stops working.
I can’t believe I’ve never thought of this before, but anyone doing their hair at home and doesn’t have a shower cap, I just used a food waste bag, like the council give out for your food waste, works brilliantly if your out of caps 👍
This has a weird music and vibe ! Doesn’t feel like an educational video … Also claiming you’ve been cutting hair since 14 ? lol .. please you can’t claim you are a professional hairstylist since that age !

Omg did you see how hard she yanked her head back? Damn that's some violent af salon experience

Is it okay to have No. 2 touch the scalp?
You are awesone and thank you for sharing!!! Never thought of using before a cut!

Can number 2 be applied directly to dry dirty hair?
Yes
No number 3 instead !
I’m confused. The #2 says to apply after shampooing not before
It says That for when you rinse out bleach and not to shampoo when rinsing color but if you’re doing it alone shampoo first and shampoo again afterwards following with conditioner
@@nickprince9119 Thank you for clarification. It is a basic but often missed or misunderstood distinction.
What happens if you've run out of no.2 but still have enough of no.1
I'd use no 3 as if it was no.2
Can you authentication a bottle I recived from Amazon??
using only no2 and skipping no1, is less effective???

Then why have olaplex #3 seems the same
It’s the same but a take home version for in-between salon services to keep hair healthy as possible

Is it ok to leave No 3 on overnight?
Christie Anderson there is no need, an hour or 2 at most should be suitable
Exactly what Cara said - many thanks for your question Christie, and thanks for your reply Cara! ~Jodie
