  • Get that bike on the road and meet new friends. Come on out and go riding with likeminded people, have coffee, a full english breakfast and chat about the things that you want to.
Go pass your test, and waste no time. You will have a great time riding your bike once your test is complete. Again. make new friends and go out for a longer ride.

"Right Now! It's your tomorrow. Right Now! C'mon, it's everything..." VanHalen and Sammy said it best, grab that magic moment. Ride that bike. Learn to ride and buy that bike. "What are ya waiting for?"
I like VH with DLR but I LOVE VH with Sammy. RIP Eddie, I hope you're tearing it up with Hendricks, and Prince, and Les Paul, and all those guitar greats. We'll keep your spirit alive playing your music.
Have a great day,, fellow riders!

6th October 2020. A very sad day as an absolute legend leaves all behind. Not sure what Van Halen will do without Eddie. Very sad and missed every day ❤

Richard, you are right, life is just too short and the comment about the Jealous Clock made me laugh! Now I dare not look at any of the clocks in my home for fear of Jealousy. 🙂 I have other plans and when the time is right, I will be putting them into action and getting out on my bike. It may not be this year but who knows what's going to happen and with the pending uncertainty surrounding this General Election????

Mmmm, the general election. That will be interesting. Same old if the Tories get in, not sure what will happen if labour get in. As I get older, I seem to use that term more an more (jealous clock). People always laugh at that statement. Your bike will come out when you are ready 👍

I've been looking forward for months to getting my GoldStar out of the garage only to fall fowl of a minor heart attack and a few weeks in hospital recieveing a stem cell procedure. I'm out now feeling good but a whole host of tablets I've been given to take daily make me feel a little detached so I'm waiting a little longer before giving it a go.

At the very least Ian, go out an sit on her. Start her up and that will put a smile on your face 👍. Speedy recover 👍. When you are ready, I will buy the coffee 😆

Did my test last October @ 55. Bought a Honda nc750x and still not taken it out. I really do need to make time to take it out but begrudge paying a fortune for insurance to use once or twice.

Time mainly plus storage. There's been 2 bikes stolen from outside our house my sons and his friends bike. At the moment it's secure back of house but hard work getting it back in once out. So until I get some sort of secure storage at the front it has to stay. So depressed I can't use it though.

When did you ever work 14hrs, I have calculated that you spent at least 15 mins in every hour having a smoke and another 15mins making and drinking coffee and having a pee so in reality you actually worked 7hrs max and I did all the rest! You need to forward me the £££ for my work on your behalf (before it’s too late and you’re not mentally capable) so I can buy a T120 too. Don’t worry about the clock, just cram more into each and every minute you have left (double time but payment is in living experiences) See you soon and don’t forget the beer vouchers this time 😅

14 hours of wandering how to look busy is hard on the brain. It's not easy to do that at least 5 days a week 😆. You can have to the T120 when I get to Austria 😆

I have a few classic vehicles and they are way cheaper to insure than a modern day car.. I thought it would be the same with bikes. Lol you can afford to retire after your ex has fleeced you of everything 😂.. you stay single Gramps and keep riding your bikes and making UA-cam videos..

Hi Gramps, does the insurance work the same as a car? If you have a classic bike, it's a lot cheaper than a newer bike? That comment made me laugh that your only 57, and you call yourself a pensioner in your youtube videos 😂. I thought you were retired..

I'm 58 and been a pensioner for a couple of years. It can happen. 😁

Haha, I like it. You can't get state pension yet.. I'm 51 calling you Gramps lol 😂.
I am retired but not a pensioner yet..
I love your videos though. I've never been on a motor bike, although I have thought about getting a motorbike licence not happened yet as I think with the high volume of vehicles on the road and the way some people drive today might get knocked off it either being seriously injured or worse killed..
But saying that I have heard various people saying what a buzz it is ride a motorbike,
I was never aloud one when I was younger..

@@leepearce3148 I’m not the Bankrupt Pensioner, though I feel that way at times. 😂
I grew up on a farm in Illinois, in the US. I rode dirt bikes, three-wheelers, snowmobiles, etc.
When I was old enough to drive on the road my Dad wouldn’t let me have a bike because he was scared off bikes by an accident we came upon one night. So I’d ride my buddy’s V45 Magna, which was a blast.
Then my first wife was a nurse who hated motorcycles so we compromised and I had a Jeep for a few years.
We got tired of each other and divorced. So I’ve been on bikes again for another 30 years.
Street bikes, Harleys, dual sports, ADV bikes, I love em all.
But, you really have to be on your toes when you ride on the streets.
On the dirt you’re your own issue on the road that still applies but like you said, other vehicles greatly add to the things to be considered.
It’s totally an individual’s choice and not for everyone, just like driving a fire truck or flying an airplane isn’t for everyone.

    • @leepearce3148
      @leepearce3148 2 місяці тому +1

@pinkiewerewolf you were lucky to have dirt bikes ect. Looking back now my parents were right not to let me or my brother have a motorbike because they way we drove our cars we definitely would have been either dead or seriously injured, but being older now I would be a lot more cautious.
Maybe the Bankrupt pensioner would love to come and tour round the USA with you sometime.
      Enjoy your bike mate.
