You earned it! I just bought my first tractor a month ago, a 1945 AC B like yours but mine's seized up... and ugly but not rusty. I'm hoping mine doesn't have so many goofs made since it hasn't been "restored" like yours was.
You can tell when someone knows what they’re doing, its attention to detail. Good to hear the little B fire right up. Now I can continue with my project, thanks
Nice work on the magneto. I feel your pain with the issues you have found. Unfortunately most people don't take the time to do things right the first time either do to laziness, time constraints or money issues. I just bought an Allis Model C with a belly mower. Its not perfect, needs a little work, but I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead.
Very happy to see and hear this running! I just can't image all the little things that added up to be a lot of work on this. I can see the magneto being off, but, moreso than that, the big surprise was the spark plug wire not being trimmed and property connected. That one was strange. Anyways...awesome work as always!
Nice video! The gear inside wasn't really out of time. The mag was not timed to the engine properly. If you rotated the mag back 1/2 a turn and remounted it, it would have been in time. Probably still would not have sparked, though, with that ancient coil. Timing that part is good to show here in that kind of detail because so many people get that part wrong. This was your first vid i stumbled across good stuff now i have to watch the rest.

Thanks. Good luck with the B!

Thank you Ken. That is nice of you to say. That one was a stubborn old girl!
Yes, thanks for sharing the video. It was very helpful.
Good job getting that engine to run and it does sound good!! That's a relief.
Happy Sunday. Good video.
Thank you! You too!

Yes, thanks! I had over two hours of video for this one. There were so many tedious things to do.
Just a perfect amount of wrongs for a great video series! Thanks!
Frustrating but fun!
Nice to see you got a bit life out of the engine! Looking forward to seeing her run on the next episode. Thanks.
Thanks Richard!
Looking forward to part 5.
Awesome it does run, good work
Thanks for the comments! It fired right up after I resolved spark and timing….

Thank you! I appreciate the comment. Welcome!
Sounded real good to me.
I think you got a tractor with a Krylon restoration.
Can’t wait to see it moving under its own power.
Yes, it is looking that way. Hopefully I get can this trailer queen back to operational condition!
Nice job !
Thanks for the video !
Yep, somebody did a looks-only "restoration". At least the paint job looks good where you can see it.
Since we cannot allow you to wear an IH hat while operating an A C model B, I need a mailing address to rectify this anomaly...
Ha ha! Thanks Rick. I'm actually in the process of securing a dedicated mailing address for the channel. I should have it later this week.
