    The fact that it fired up and drove around shows how well built they were back in the day! Well done save!

    I left mine sitting outside uncovered for 6 years (other than the proverbial soup can over the exhaust) and didnt even have to clean the carb to get it going. After watching all these videos of waterlogged/locked up b models im starting to think i got extremely lucky!

    Good tractors for sure. I had one 30 years ago and had a 6' belly mower on it. It cut grass excellent.

    How does the battery stay charged on the B, since there's no alternator on the side

    • @ontariovintagetractor
      @ontariovintagetractor  Рік тому

      Charge it as needed , it runs on a magneto so battery is only used for starting. Once I restore it I’ll convert it to 12 volt charging

    • @theoccasionalfarmboy
      @theoccasionalfarmboy Рік тому +1

      @ontariovintagetractor Thanks, I got a case S, which is missing the alternator, so I guess I'll have to do the same.

    • @theoccasionalfarmboy
      @theoccasionalfarmboy Рік тому

      @ontariovintagetractor Hopefully, you can get a video of the conversion before I start on mine, lol

    • @ontariovintagetractor
      @ontariovintagetractor  Рік тому +3

      @theoccasionalfarmboy it’s not hard , but if you jump over to @tractorman44 ‘s channel , he has 12 volt alternator conversions. Really great guy here’s the link to his channel youtube.com/@tractorman4461?si=I_OTkkzChBPBhwkP

    Should have added some lubricant Before you rotate the engine over that much then put the sparkler exam😊

    I love the content, but can you please lower the volume on your opening and closing music by at least half? I blew out my speakers, turning up the volume so that I could hear you speaking and then Kaboom. Thanks.

    • @ontariovintagetractor
      @ontariovintagetractor  Рік тому

      I will certainly look into that , the software is supposed to match the volume , apparently it’s not . Thanks for the feedback

    a bucket on the exhaust would help.

    • @ontariovintagetractor
      @ontariovintagetractor  Рік тому +1

      As I said in the video , exhaust was covered but the aftermarket muffler doesn’t seal on the manifold correctly which allows water in at the lower portion

    why do you still have the pan seat on there get with the dice plush seat the other bs have well I tell you you said I want those things you just sink into it it's like a bed but it's amazing I love peace even though once scared the hell out of me once who is what's what's it was because that well if it wasn't really running well and when I had to drag the garden with like it's kind of like a cultivator thing but anyways it shut off all the way back to the farm where my grandparents live so my grandpa and my Dad tried to fire tried to get it tried to fire it up again and well it did it's just it blew a whole bunch of flames out of the front radiator but that was what the tractor was well not great but now it's fixed it well I think my goal I think one of my uncle's I don't think he's too happy with how it sounds like it definitely sounds better though
    Edit . I sorry, I was using the mic to do this comment

    Why would you leave it. Without. A muffler cover?..

    • @ontariovintagetractor
      @ontariovintagetractor  Рік тому

      It was covered , if you listen in the video the muffler is after market and does not seal in the manifold correctly. Allows water in even with a can on it

    NEVER start and run an engine that has been subjected to water WITHOUT changing the oil !!!! That is total disregard for the equipment that you are trying to restore....

      Water settles At the bottom below the oil pick up , oil level wasn’t over filled , it’s fine
