Nah you just have to find the right deal. I bought a 2014 yz450f with KYB suspension for 3k. I had to look for 5 months before I found the right one, but it was worth it. I already put 40 hard hours on it with no issues!
So here is the thing I do, I clean he pipe with a wire wheel and hit it with a torch. (Just for colour). Father I do that I run it down with wd40 or chain lube. That is the most important thing. After every ride put some oil on a rag and rub the header down. It will keep it looking fresh. It will smoke a little due to the oil burning off, but don’t worry about that

Yeah that motor sounded like insufficient RPM, like the clutch was disengaged but you were in neutral.
