I'm almost done making One mask. I found some other Fall Colors to make more. At first when I made it. I was messing up on my counts. But, I figured out what I was doing wrong. You do need to add that extra one on the chain. 30-31. That makes a difference. But once I figured it out. It was very easy to do. Now I'll be making me a few different ones. :) The wire actually helps my glasses from getting steamed up. :) Ty for the Pattern.

I’m in Australia the names of yarns are different eg worsted weight aren’t referred to this way and I have to google all the time to work out our equivalent…so hard ! I love that this has a fabric lining and elastic straps but it is a very advanced pattern. I wouldnt recommend doing this design if you're new to crochet.
The very first measurement is the one you want to make sure you make the base chain as, as I explain in the video, and them you need to spread the stitches across this ch, so for example for your 24 base stitches you can do: 6 scs, 2 hdcs, 8 dcs, 2hdcs and 6scs. If I'm not wrong there 2 ways(that I know of) to make a half double crochet. One is to go through all 3 loops. and the second one is to go into the first loop then through all three. So like 1loop, then 3 loops

Double crochet are the easiest. I started crocheting about 8 years ago. That's the first one I learned. You will get the hang of it. Just follow some easy teachers on UA-cam. That's what I done. 😊
I dont like my ears sticking out like dumbo. Also acrylic fibers make me sneeze. But if you can get past that then thats for you. Not sure is washing it is safe plus it can loose its shape unless you use cotton. I gave trouble breathing in the disposable ones.
It's probably your yarn weight or your stitches are tighter than mine, try adding doing with the 14 cm, the yarn can stretch, otherwise add more to the chains at the beginning.

If it's just the crochet it will not work definitely, even with a small hook and using only SC, you have to add a lining with a 100% cotton fabric, and if you see the lining I've created it goes around the mouth and nose area as a 100% cotton mask would. Thank you for comment anyways.
