The mask features adjustable earloops for a snug fit around the face. You can use any fabric of your choice as the liner. And add filters to the pocket for an extra layer.

For face mask filters, I have heard of using coffee filters or paper towels cut to fit.

Check the CDC website for guidance. Best filters are made with the same cotton cloth used for quilts. Fold so that you have 3 layers minimum and sew into your mask.
