Nissan could always do what GM did with the Camaro when it went from the 5th to the 6th generation. When they announced that they would stop making them everyone got sad. Now that they went to continue the GTR people hate it. Some people keep changing their minds
It's because there isn't any real competitor. You USED to be able to get a GTR for like 80k and it'll destroy almost anything. I can't think of another Japanese car that even comes close to comparing.
So let me get this straight... people are complaining that cars are changing right now, and yet, if they dont change it, its also not good enough? What do you even want?
Last time they tried making a different version of the R35 that looked different (GT-R R50) no one even liked it, because, quote: "It looks nothing like the GT-R, a bastardization of the iconic design, AND it is too expensive."
With All Do Respect. In My Opinion Nissan Does Not To Change Anything The GTR has The Same For 15 Years And Still Here. Plus GTR has always been The Underdog And It Still. BEST SUPERCAR KILLER Ever.
It’s cause there’s no competition. It’s only competition at this point is the new supra which isn’t really competition so they don’t need to dump more money to make it the fastest Japanese car. That’s why German cars keep getting faster. They all compete with each other
Whether it sucks or not is simply a matter of opinion. They are still selling and if they weren’t Nissan would have put it out to Pastor along time ago. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Still plenty of people lining up to dump well over six figures for these things.
Maybe they actually know when to stop changing stuff unlike all the new trucks. The 2024 Fords have automatic scent dispensers in the seat when you shit your pants

And if they change it, people will also complain that it’s too different. People will complain about anything, mainly the ones that would never be able to own a gtr in the first place
When they announced that they would stop making them everyone got sad. Now that they went to continue the GTR people hate it. Some people keep changing their minds
Of course they make a few changes it’s a really good car to change it
Iphone 14 now the new Iphone 15 😂
It's because there isn't any real competitor. You USED to be able to get a GTR for like 80k and it'll destroy almost anything. I can't think of another Japanese car that even comes close to comparing.
So let me get this straight... people are complaining that cars are changing right now, and yet, if they dont change it, its also not good enough? What do you even want?
They should just drop the prices ssignificantly. Better than trying to compete against newer cars with a 15 year old vehicle.
Last time they tried making a different version of the R35 that looked different (GT-R R50) no one even liked it, because, quote: "It looks nothing like the GT-R, a bastardization of the iconic design, AND it is too expensive."
At this point, they should just end its misery. Because seeing a R36 GTR as an EV would kill me inside.
Yea I fed you.I hate GTR because I don’t own one
Some cosmetic mods which people will change instantly
GTR's will live forever ! Why you ask ? Parts will be interchangeable with most models ! brilliant
With All Do Respect. In My Opinion Nissan Does Not To Change Anything The GTR has The Same For 15 Years And Still Here. Plus GTR has always been The Underdog And It Still. BEST SUPERCAR KILLER Ever.
Don't ask for a new car.. They will throw evs at you shut
Honestly I like the consistency. The price increase is the problem
Even Porsche doesn't bother with Nissan anymore. Such Shame
16 years later and it still looks modern. I love it.
At this point it feels like this car is going to get the British motor company treatment and never be fully updated for years
Nissan being Apple
I guess never change a winning team but it’s kinda sad they didn’t look at the concepts (a modern r34 remake with r35 parts here and there)
I guarantee the r36 is in the works, I'd rather wait a few years for it to be good than them rush it at this point
It’s cause there’s no competition. It’s only competition at this point is the new supra which isn’t really competition so they don’t need to dump more money to make it the fastest Japanese car. That’s why German cars keep getting faster. They all compete with each other
Why mess with perfection? If it isn’t broke, don’t change it the vehicle keeps selling.
I agree they should stick buck teeth on for the grilles, really helps a brand 👍🏻
Whether it sucks or not is simply a matter of opinion. They are still selling and if they weren’t Nissan would have put it out to Pastor along time ago. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Still plenty of people lining up to dump well over six figures for these things.
Considering that a new gtr will most likely be a hybrid or electric, they should just continue facelifting the R35.
Maybe they actually know when to stop changing stuff unlike all the new trucks. The 2024 Fords have automatic scent dispensers in the seat when you shit your pants
I wouldn’t want to change it. That’s what makes it a GTR !
When the supra mk5 was released many people were mad and said mk4 is better so I think that is a good think that the gtr is still old
If something is working in engineering, change nothing but make it look like you changed a lot
It's very old now. Usually new gen comes out after 6 to 8 years.
This thing already freaking 16 years old.
This is Japanese improving, it’s like that since the beginning of the automobile in Japan
