How about update the 30 year old colour corrector? Or effects engine? Or a titler that works. Or improve the woeful quality of your image processing or sample level audio editing in the timeline? Any number of other urgent fixes that would actually have real value to editors.
Agreed. That was always my reservation with any kind of automation. It makes it harder to tell before hiring if an assistant is trained and knowledgeable. Now they'll just use this to do a lot of stuff. It could be a really helpful tool when used correctly though.
