The worst thing that would happen electronically if you make a mistake is blow a fuse. You are not dealing with 110v. You are only dealing with 12v. It might hurt slightly if you licked it but you wouldn’t even feal it if you touched it.
I know this video is older, but i have a ? for you. Why is there a battery compartment but is not connected to anything? Thats hiw mine is too. Thanks enjoyed the video!

Hi! This is exactly what I am dealing with today! I have to temporarily use the Honeywell until the Coleman Mach gets here on the 18th! I am stuck in my Class C with no air! The fan works. Can you please tell me what wires of the six (blue, green, yellow, white, red & grey). I am with my dogs & cat in the Georgia heat & humidity. On the Honeywell there is a spot for the orange, but I have no orange. Do I need to it the grey in that spot? Please help!
Can you give me idea on why mine is just clicking I unplugged my camper moved it plugged it back and now ac is just clicking when I turn the the lil nob to cool ?
It unclips from the top. Insert a slot screw driver gently while pulling the face towards you. In the video you will see 2 "squares". These hold two hooks... if you push down on them with a screw driver, they will unhook.
My maintenance man wants me to change it. I've never done such a thing don't wanna shock myself either!

Orange is not used. Leave it open.
@@deanlambert8258 hey, thanks! My air won’t work, just the fan! Can you tell me where the wires should be on the Honeywell?

I can’t say I’m an expert but, try turning the breaker for AC unit off and let it sit for a 10 minutes. Then turn it back on again.
How you open the thermostat to screw it in the wall??
