Wow. Corrin is one of my mains and I still got my mind blown by these strategies I never even knew about. Proof that hours of playtime doesn't magically make someone the best, it requires actual in-depth thought and practice.

Man I remember when ultimate came out, I had to learn how to play corrin without guides like these. It was a really long time before I actually got good at playing corrin consistently since I had to learn everything from scratch or had to pull stuff from smash 4 and rework it. Still though, for some reason corrin is probably the funnest character to play for me, so it was totally worth it. I’m glad that more and more guides like these exist now, really helps out
Nice guide, Corrin gets a bad rap as having a boring or repetitive play style but I find them to be quite interesting and versatile. I’m a pretty casual player but Smash has been a good way to pass time during the madness of 2020. I’ve worked out a few of these techniques just from playing online more seriously but this gave me some great pointers for improving some of my weaknesses and showed me a few things I hadn’t yet stumbled upon. Great job on delivering clear instruction, a simple delivery coupled with concise explanation for when and why the options function goes a long way to making theory easy to understand and utilize. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Nice. Just picked up corrin as my hopeful 14th elite member. Some really good edge guarding stuff. Especially side b on ledge. That's a trixy manovour.
Another option for ledge trapping: facing towards the stage while charging f-smash at ledge covers all options except for attack, and can be good for conditioning the opponent into choosing an aggressive option or waiting.
My main has been switching between Lucina and Corrin and as someone who had played for..... less than a month rn? this helps A LOT (Yes, ultimate is my first smash game)

Oh a side note : i discovered a tech with Corrin . If you full hop side b you can still jump and air dodge but hitting the ground . But if you wanna spam full hop side b quickly , do a full hop side b and immediately buffer toward air . Forward air autocancels 1-8 before the hit box comes out . So if you input the forward air before hitting the ground after a full hop side b you land on the ground with no lag . So if you don’t airdodge or jump after a full hop side b , you can do this also to land on the ground with no lag so you can almost spam pins !
