Nice setup. You should definitely look into a small level kit or perch collars for the Hoss 3.0. It will rub when you do any sort of rock crawling. You can simply remove the fenders also and should always air down to 10-20 psi offroad. Just get a compressor and air back up when you leave. The comfort and additional traction are worth it. Cheers
I’ll actually be doing 1.5” perch collars front and rear soon! I’m fully clearancing for the tires though, because it’ll still flex to the same point with the lift.🤙🏼. I plan to keep the Sasquatch flares because it’s my favourite look, but I’ve slightly trimmed the front ones where they slightly rubbed. As for airing down, I normally sit at 9-11 psi, but for this video I was lazy and didn’t bother to drop from street pressure as I had to hit the road early in the morning. Cheers!
They’ll all be increased by a bit, but I’m used to it on the FJ already. Also, Ford has a performance tune I’ll probably do, but it turns the 37s just fine.
I’ll be doing a full walk around soon! The build has progressed quite far, and after some trimming and cutting, the 37s fit fully. Being so wide, my setup did take some proper work to fit, but I’m currently at about 1.5” lift and it is 99% rub free offroad. A small spacer lift helps lower the bump stops so you don’t hit the fenders and pop off the flares like I did in that video.🤙🏼
Matt!!!! I am doing a factory Hoss 3.0 swap on my ‘21 badlands. I need a doaner VIN from a Wildtrack with the Hoss 3.0 so I can properly order Ford parts and use the VIN for programming purposes. Are you willing to help me out?
Mine is a Canadian bronco, but if that works then I don’t mind. Are you willing to message me on Instagram (no requirement to follow) and I’ll get you my vin.🤙🏼
Love the look dude
Thanks!!
You should be able to lower the PSI warning threshold through Forscan.
I still need to get that!

Rock crawling is the most boring thing anyone can do in world history
If you said what kind of tires you are running on the Bronco I missed what you said
What about the 0-60 time difference, stability on pavement, potential wear and tear of the suspension and transmission parts, wheel bearings, etc?

Any progress or breakdown on what you’ve done to clear? I want to do exactly this with my WT. I’d prefer no lift if possible and all the clearance

What wheels are you running on the Bronco?
Sorry if I missed it but are you rubbing at full lock with the 37s?
I am. I’ll try to do a video about what I do to fully clear them. I just haven’t had time yet.🤙🏼
@@fj_matt awesome, thanks Matt! My Bronco is expected next month so that would be good timing. Keep the content coming.
Let me know when you break your tie rods and steering rack.
The Wildtrak has the raptor rack and tie rods.
Hi, which rims are these?
Alpha Equipped X-commanders. They sadly don’t make them anymore.
