Anna was reacting like a race car driver who is allowed to put her foot all the way down on the pedal and feel the joy that has drawn her to her machine.
Who is FINALLY allowed to... like you drive a sports car with the police officer in the next seat for years, and suddenly he is telling you: "OK, boy, hit it to the metal. I need to catch that car."
We traveled from the U.S. to London so that our teenage daughter could have a once in a lifetime concert experience. Never in my wildest dreams did I see this awesome performance coming. We were seated on the 2nd tier, overlooking the right hand side of the stage. We could see Aurora in front of the screen and Anna Lapwood behind the screen. It was the highlight of our trip and one that I will never ever forget. That was one historic performance and I feel so blessed to have been there to see it live!
I was there for this and when that organ kicked in I almost lost my damn mind! 🤪 I’ve seen the famous Royal Albert Hall organ being played on tv for things like the Proms, but to witness its POWER in person was absolutely mind blowing! This was hands down one of the best live shows I have ever been to and the venue and organ played a part of that! So much love to everybody involved in making this happen. It really was a once in a lifetime experience! 😊😊🎉 👏
I know the sound is not even remotely close to what it sounded like in that place, but it is enough to send shivers down your spine more than once, they are both incredible artists.
I love how the organ sounds louder than even aurora once it fully kicks in. Absolutely incredible. I’m going to one of aurora’s concerts and very much looking forward to it
That is so freaking cool! I just love how much fun she's having playing with Aurora. The captions are great. It's one thing to hear how great it sounds, but to see the organist almost giddy while playing it, that takes it to a completely different level. Thanks for sharing!
Did you feel that? That pull on your soul? I felt it, too. For a moment, etched into eternity; her, you and I, were all connected, feeling the indescribable. Never forget that.
This is extremely powerful. Jesus Christ. It literally made me tear up. The power of the organ, the visuals, Aurora’s voice, as well as the song itself and its lyrics… Beautiful. Aurora’s music is amazing and powerful, and this performance is one that I wish I could have experienced in person.
So first time I've ever remotely experienced this much emotional waterfall lol I'm a grown ass man that has cried like 2x in his life.....why does this song do this lol!! I'm completely lost atm
There's something about this song, and especially with the soaring organ sound, bringing it even more to life, that I feel so deeply. It pulls out so much emotion, that I can't help but cry. It's just so beautiful.
As per my comment on the previous video, seeing this from both aspects is phenomenal.... Love Aurora's Vocals, never heard of her before this video.... AMAZING...... This hall must have had the roof blown off by these two outstanding performers.... If you both perform together again i would 100% buy tickets.
Oh god, this version of the song gave me serious tingles! I never thought an organ would hit so powerful and I grew up hearing the organ from my Catholic upbringing
holy shiet... the last time i had those gusbumbs was when i heard pink floyd for the first time lol, damn anna and aurora loves their jobs! amazing stuff
I know I wouldn‘t have been able to see anymore, there comes a point where it‘s just so intense that I‘m sobbing and crying and don‘t open my eyes anymore until it‘s over. I‘ve had that exact experience over and over again when music was so other-worldly beautiful.
I imagine Native Americans racing through the woods, fiercely defending their land. The powerful, almost primal sound of Miss lapwood’s organ paired with Miss Aurora’s spiritual, tribal energy creates an unstoppable expression of human nature as it once was. While I wouldn’t call myself a tree hugger, the truth is, we must learn to live in harmony with the Earth before it’s too late-because, in the end, she will always have the final say. Miss Aurora and Miss Lapwood, I truly believe a collaboration between you two would be extraordinary. Your combined talents and unique styles would amplify each other in ways that could create something truly unforgettable.
This instrument gives the song so much more power and dramatic like if the song comes directly from a higher being warning us that our way of living is wrong.
Oh my gosh, this side by side is amazing! It must have been absolutely incredible to experience live. From what I have heard of the audio the team did a great job mixing - even with the organ going full out you can still hear other music instruments and Aurora singing.
Did someone just cut off the ending? There was a great reaction from Anna at the very end where she turned around listening to the crowd. Please bring it back
For any more adept musicians than me : is that power-chord sequence something like - C minor to D sharp / E Flat (major or minor) to F minor then returning to C minor ?
Anna had a really hectic time to make this happen:- 1st Oct - solo recital - Wiener Konzerthaus, Austria. 2nd Oct - birthday party for the BBC Singers at the Barbican Centre. So, sometime after flying back from Austria she had to go to the hall to practice the evening's set. She then had to travel across London to perform at the Barbican Centre. The another trip back across London to guest at Aurora's concert. 🤯
I'm sorry, but I don't have a Reddit account so I can not post there 🙁 When I found your video it was the best audio of this sequence I had found. If you want me to take down the video I'll delete it immediately. If not: thank you 🙏
For stage presence and amazing vocal proficiency along with the crazy-loving audience participation, Anna Lapwood should watch any of Chappell Roan's 2024 concerts at any of the locations in the U.S., London, Berlin, etc. in small indoor theaters, on late night American TV (next is Saturday Night Live in October), or the numerous huge outdoor festivals this last Spring and Summer. After ten years she's suddenly the most significant pop sensation since Lady Gaga (see Elton John's and Adele's testimonials). I love Chappell Roan, but this is such an unnecessary comment to have made on this video. AURORA and CR are very different pop artists, and both utterly wonderful in their own ways. Even as a big fan of both, I'd say that Aurora is magical and operating on a different plane to Chappell (and most other artists in all music history) - she's like a living-embodiment of perfect vocal expression.
Anna was reacting like a race car driver who is allowed to put her foot all the way down on the pedal and feel the joy that has drawn her to her machine.
That’s because it’s one of the few times in music anyone gets to draw out the full power of that amazing organ

I wish there were proper recordings of these concerts. I'd listen to it all the time!!
I am the one with the proper recording xD trust me that video in original quality is mind-blowing. (I am the snailkiller of the credits ahah)
@@cristinafrusi7271 Proper as in not a phone? 🤞🏻
With a proper microphone. Can't exactly record it from an mixing desk as it's analog amplification. (just pump more air in) @@olahaldor
I don't think a microphone exists that can capture the full breadth of what everyone in the hall heard that night.
@@cristinafrusi7271where can I find it? Did you upload it somewhere?

@@dougmcduffie Sorry for the camera shock, i couldn't hold back my body 👁️👄👁️
The organ sounds like a big powerful storm full of emotions!! Exactly what the song is supposed to sound like
Is this why I get so emotional???? Super weird I'm a grown ass man!!!
Anna Lapwood’s joyful “hee-hee” was so wonderful and had to substitute for throwing both arms up over her head and cheering!!
This is so freaking heavy. I hope they do a studio version. Wow.
I know the sound is not even remotely close to what it sounded like in that place, but it is enough to send shivers down your spine more than once, they are both incredible artists.

Where I was sat (near the organ pipes, off axis to the PA), Anna virtually wiped out the band when she hit 'full organ' ... 🤪
Please bring this out as a single, so that everyone can enjoy this great work!
I really hope a high audio quality version of the full song gets released - Really amazing...

How do you mean "almost"? She basically left Earth there for a moment.

Absolutely mindblowingly incredible.
