I was so lucky to be there in person on my 50th birthday at the Royal Albert Hall watching Aurora. This blew my mind! Aurora is absolutely incredible live. An amazing show
I was happy to se her in Edingburgh only two days after the show at the Royal Albert Hall. She was amazing. Soldout and the fans whent nuts. And when she made a joke about englishmen they whent even moore nuts. Great video. Thanks.🎉❤
I had never heard Aurora before but subscribing to both your channel and Anna Lapwood's channel has brought her to me - thank you so much. The music and lyrics are truly moving and really go to highlight some of the issues facing our world. I was surprised by Wendi's comment regarding the use of the organ. I think the organ brings a depth to the music that makes you feel it in your body and that transcends the lyrics - to get the full effect you need some big speakers to feel the depth as you would in a live venue. For me the organ lifted the music to a level beyond that originally conceived and I think the audience's reaction proves this. Great music moves you, it creates an emotion, and this music definitely does that - well done Aurora and Anna.
I was lucky to see this in person and think it was the most powerful piece of music I've ever experienced live, so glad it was recorded for everyone to taste ❤
Anna Lapwood played on 3 songs during the Royal Albert Hall show, Echo of my shadow, The River and The Seed. The sheer surprise of the organ coming in during Echo of my shadow was incredible, and the solo organ build to an almost overwhelming finale. THere are videos from an audience perspective of all 3 songs on youtube, and tiktok which are worth looking for. I bought me ticket very last minute, and still cant quite believe my luck.
Always awesome seeing you return to Aurora, especially introducing a friend to her! The lyrics are actually "Feed me truth and feed me prayer," which I find an extremely interesting line. She's spiritual, but not religious, so I take this as wanting both facts and hope, as opposed to asking for prayer literally.
Greetings from Scotland! If more people could see our world through Aurora's unique eyes, things would be so different now....... She has a connection to nature unlike anyone else I have ever seen.
Iroquois here this is a native american proverb " only after the last tree has fallen the last fish caught and the last river poisoned will you realize you cannot eat money "
It's nice to see you with Aurora again, it's been a while. The reason why the audience screamed in the middle was because of Anna and the start of the organ. There is a little clip of Anna where you can see her playing and how much fun she had. It's a shame you didn't see a video because part of the "Aurora package" is Aurora's live presence. Still, nice reaction and I hope you come back with Aurora, there's so much new from her. Aurora's Joik, for example. "Tribute to Mari Boine" you'll hear Aurora like you've never heard her before... check it out 😃❤
what a nice idea, to introduce aurora to a friend. unfortunately there is no live footage but the rendition is stunning. while talking about ai and information technology, you should also check her song "starvation".
There's something about pop culture from when I was a kid. There was Michael Jackson The King of Pop and Madonna The Queen of Pop. I liked Whitney Houston. But, my real high school crush was Debbie Gibson. The thing is that we hear about One Hit Wonders and we think of it like fast food. Pardon the analogy but, cheaper quality. And the thing is that, some of it is really good and does have amazing talent and quality. For example, Elton John is awesome. So, yeah. Arora may be Pop to me but her music is captivating and her voice and performance! Thx!
Nice reaction💚 This is now my favourite version of this song😍😍 Aurora rarely write songs about herself, and this is no exception. This is a cry for Mother Earth💚 [Verse 1] Just like the seed I don't know where to go Through dirt and shadow, I grow I'm reaching light through the struggle Just like the seed I'm chasing the wonder I unravel myself All in slow motion [Chorus] You cannot eat money, oh no You cannot eat money, oh no When the last tree has fallen And the rivers are poisoned You cannot eat money, oh no You cannot eat money, oh no You cannot eat money, oh no When the last tree has fallen And the rivers are poisoned You cannot eat money, oh no Oh no [Verse 2] Suffocate me So my tears can be rain I will water the ground where I stand So the flowers can grow back again 'Cause just like the seed Everything wants to live We are burning our fingers But we learn and forgive, ah [Chorus] You cannot eat money, oh no You cannot eat money, oh no When the last tree has fallen And the rivers are poisoned You cannot eat money, oh no You cannot eat money, oh no You cannot eat money, oh no When the last tree has fallen And the rivers are poisoned You cannot eat money, oh no Oh no [Bridge] Feed me sunlight, feed me air (In a place where nothing matters) Feed me truth and feed me prayers (Dancing around a shooting star) (And every cell remembers what have taken us this far) Feed me sunlight, feed me air (I see images of killer whales) Feed me truth and feed me prayers (Sleeping in a desert trail) (Dreaming of a parallel world where nothing ever hurts) (Dreaming of a parallel world where nothing ever hurts) [Chorus] You cannot eat money, oh no You cannot eat money, oh no When the last tree has fallen And the rivers are poisoned You cannot eat money, oh no You cannot eat money, oh no You cannot eat money, oh no When the last tree has fallen And the rivers are poisoned You cannot eat money, oh no Oh no The lyrics in brackets are from the studio version 😊

That organ must have been awsome? I saw her 2 days later in Manchester and she was terrific.
@jonathanwetherell3609 it really was! Such a treat, she's so good live anyway but that was an added bonus. Hope you enjoyed the Manchester gig!
@@WindyMouse217 Did I but the RAH one looked even better, if lacking the intimacy of the O2 Apollo.

I love Aurora ❤❤❤ kisses from Italy 😘😘😘
Aurora has done a mashup of this song with Jacob Collier’s “A Rock Somewhere” to benefit Greenpeace.
Next reaction, perhaps?

This must have been something else live. I have felt that organ in the RAH only once and it was visceral.
aurora is my favorite artist of all time
Great reaction. I usually start with "Through The Eyes Of A Child" or "Murder Song 54321" as an introduction to Aurora.

It's a pity you didnt choose an actual live video. Hearing AND seeing her perform is a totally different experience. She is a true live performer.
There is Audience footage of the song
I can recommend watching Anna`s video so you can see it from the "other side" as well.
Please show Your friend ✨Through the eyes from the child✨ live from Niderasdomen too💚🍀💚

[Verse 1]
Just like the seed
I don't know where to go
Through dirt and shadow, I grow
I'm reaching light through the struggle
Just like the seed
I'm chasing the wonder
I unravel myself
All in slow motion
[Chorus]
You cannot eat money, oh no
You cannot eat money, oh no
When the last tree has fallen
And the rivers are poisoned
You cannot eat money, oh no
You cannot eat money, oh no
You cannot eat money, oh no
When the last tree has fallen
And the rivers are poisoned
You cannot eat money, oh no
Oh no
[Verse 2]
Suffocate me
So my tears can be rain
I will water the ground where I stand
So the flowers can grow back again
'Cause just like the seed
Everything wants to live
We are burning our fingers
But we learn and forgive, ah
[Chorus]
You cannot eat money, oh no
You cannot eat money, oh no
When the last tree has fallen
And the rivers are poisoned
You cannot eat money, oh no
You cannot eat money, oh no
You cannot eat money, oh no
When the last tree has fallen
And the rivers are poisoned
You cannot eat money, oh no
Oh no
[Bridge]
Feed me sunlight, feed me air
(In a place where nothing matters)
Feed me truth and feed me prayers
(Dancing around a shooting star)
(And every cell remembers what have taken us this far)
Feed me sunlight, feed me air
(I see images of killer whales)
Feed me truth and feed me prayers
(Sleeping in a desert trail)
(Dreaming of a parallel world where nothing ever hurts)
(Dreaming of a parallel world where nothing ever hurts)
[Chorus]
You cannot eat money, oh no
You cannot eat money, oh no
When the last tree has fallen
And the rivers are poisoned
You cannot eat money, oh no
You cannot eat money, oh no
You cannot eat money, oh no
When the last tree has fallen
And the rivers are poisoned
You cannot eat money, oh no

the lyrics may be "learn and forgive" but she always sings "learn and forget" which also makes more sense.
@ That’s what I’ve always thought as well, but then the lyrics says forgive🤷♀️
Forget make so much more sense💚
