Oh Monica..watching your happiness over Genya and David's wedding knowing what happens next broke my heart. I completely agree with all your points about this book! Such masterful writing and character work. Can we talk about that last line though?! Also...Captain Inej
I got really sad seeing you cry because of all the attacks targeting the Asian community :(. As a Muslim woman, I can honestly relate to what you are going through on so many levels, my heart goes to you and to your family and to everyone dreading the daily news, I pray with all my might that the world and its people will get better.
I finished RoW a couple days ago! I def cried a ton, it was so good!! I wish we had gotten a little more Alina...I would have loved to see her and Inej interact, but also the END!!! Love the little window it leaves open for future possibilities...
Rule of Wolves is honestly in the running for my favorite Grishaverse novel, which is honestly impressive cuz I didn’t think anything could beat out the original trilogy
didn't watch most of this bc of spoilers, but monica thank you for sharing your real response speaking up about your experience as a member of the aapi community during last month's events. it's incredibly brave and means so much 💗
Sending some love your way! I'm so sorry for the fear, and sadness you are feeling. I don't understand the people that could have so much hate for another human. Thank you for your videos, they always brighten my day! 🥰
I am glad to have fun found such a great channel. Real. Books. Games. Honest. Always speak out about things that matter. It makes the world a better place. We stand the asian community. Thank you for bring this up.
I read Rule of Wolves as soon as it came out and was waiting for someone to talk about it lol... I love Zoya so much omg!!! I would’ve loved to have them destroy the Darkling lol I would have love to see that on page but other than that I loved the ending, loved the plotting. This vlog is just what I needed!!!
It was really hard to pull away from this vlog, but Six of Crows and Shadow and Bone are in my library book stack and I really want to be surprised about what happens. 💙 Thanks for letting me know when the spoilers were coming! I'm so sorry about the longterm racism you, your family, and your community has faced. I am so glad that you shared with us how these horrible attacks make you feel. 😔 Your feelings matter to your viewers, and so does your right to be happy and safe. 💙 Thank you for being frank. Sending love and support your way. 💜 🏳️🌈
I absolutely love the Grishaverse world and I'm so excited for the adaptation. I haven't read King of Scars or Rule of Wolves yet but they are next on my TBR. Love your videos and I cant wait for your videos on the Shadow & Bone adaptation after it releases. Happy Reading!!! 📚🙂
Hi! 😃 Just found your channel as I just finished Rule of Wolves myself and wanting to see what other people thought of it! You had the exact same reactions as me btw. Also you’re like a little ray of sunshine and I can’t wait to watch more of your videos. I immediately subscribed. 🥰💜💜💜
Having to leave bc I still haven’t read this series yet 😭😭😭. I’m sorry you were having a rough day. The aggressions and assaults against the Asian community is not okay and if we all work together we can make it stop.
I know how you feel 😔 I'm French too. But I had the opportunity to go to the USA 4 years ago and visit a Barnes and Noble shop. One of the most beautiful day of my life (as a reader) ♥️
ahhh i’m so excited to be watching this bc i just finished the book 🥺 is it really the ending of the grishaverse series?? the ending really felt like it could be continuing to me!!
I must admit that this book was a bit too full for me - I think this series should have been a trilogy, rather than a duology - but I did ultimately like most of the things that happened, even if I'd have liked to have taken a bit more time to get there. The more I think about it, the more I really love Nina's ending in particular. The fact that she's really going to be in a position to change Fjerda for the better makes my cold heart feel feelings.
