I actually bought that same two-story Martin travel cage in the early 2000s for my ferrets... Haven't used it in a long time, but it's sitting in my garage... I don't travel as much as I used to, mostly just use a pet carrier or clear bubble backpack (made for pets with airholes and fans) when I make a quick run on the town with the ferrets... but that is a good travel cage for longer trips.... I put linoleum on the mesh floors to protect their feet.
I love Martin's Cages. My ferrets have their 6 foot shelter condo. It's 6' tall 3' wide & 2' deep, and can be divided into 4 18" tall cages. I have the dividers pulled so that my ferrets have the full size to use. Ramps run down the back of the 3 lower levels (each level has its own floor) and a 3'x2'x3" pan slides into the bottom through a flip door like your travel barn has. I cover the 0.5"x0.5" flooring on each level with fleece or pillow shams of the same dimensions. Most of my bedding sets are by SnoopysSnugglers. I also have sets by LittleFeetFerretRetreat and CreationsbyAngie. Mostly I use the regular sized travel barn for vet or short trips but I also have larger travel barns for longer trips (for me, that's been attending events such as PetExpos, club events and other day trips. Martin's Cages are super versatile for arranging bedding sets (as long as the sets are made for the cage size in use - the selection of cage sizes & styles is awesome) and there are a great many bedding set makers out there (ferret shows are a great place to see their work and talk directly with the seamstress, Facebook pages are a good source, too, but get access to reviews or ask around for customer input to be sure of quality).

I'm getting two feretts over the summer
I'm so happy I came across this video because I'm planning on moving to another state by car and I had no idea on.what kind of cage I could get for my three ferrets that would be safe and coukd fit fine in a car. My ferrets thankfully are good with car rides so that cage might do me wonders.

hey uhm, this is a little strange I suppose but my ferrets (I have two) are normally very good but I'm unable to use a litter box because they keep digging the litter out of the box. is there a way to make them stop? is there a reason they do this? the litter box is a small one that fits in the corner of the cage. they are both small ones a girl the other is a boy I use paper based litter and they have a very large "cage" we built our cage to be about 7 ft. tall and about 2 ft. wide. what should I do?
Would this be big enough for 4 ferrets or would that be too much? Lol. I just want them to be comfortable during our family road trips.

Im getting a cage for my ferret, Not a travel one, a one it can stay in when im at school. Do you know any cage reccomendations for one ferret? and how big? I need to be able to put it on a shelf so my dog doesnt wonder around it.

I am moving from North Carolina to Arizona. Unfortunately no airlines we can travel by will allow us to take bandit on board. We have to ship him (by plane) and I was hoping someone could help me find a good travel cage because I am fairly new to being a ferrent
The trip would be around 4-5 hours by plane

Any pet store or Amazon really... those things are super common... just look for a "Cat Carrier"... any small cat carrier will work fine for ferrets.

Hey thanks for the video! I was looking at the websites cage choices but i didn't know what size would be good for 2 ferrets. I don't know if the one you have for joey will be a bit cramped for them or if it will be bearable for the 2 during travel. any thoughts?

hey I have a question what if I am going traveling for 2 months like the whole summer what should I do?should I take him with me?I want to get a ferret but my mom is worried about that since I leave the whole summer to go to Mexico and visit my family and also if I do take him with me what is the best way to transport and most likely I'll travel by bus do you think they allow you to take ferrets?please help I really want to get a ferret but I have that problem so my mom won't let buy one until I have that sorted out!
Undertale Lover I think you'd have a really hard time if you are relying on public transportation with them allowing ferrets. Also, ferrets do not withstand heat well and unless you can provide great air conditioning at all time during a Mexico summer I would worry about his well being. Sorry I don't have a better answer, but I do think it would be a struggle.
Joey TheTrainedFerret yeah don't worry I'll be staying at my grandma's house and it has air conditioning and since it will be summer I'll be able to watch him all the time but what do you think? should I get the ferret but may have to leave him for 2 months ? and if I am able to find a bus that allows me what documents do I need to cross the border?but there is also a chance that I'll be able to find someone that can take me on car
