Okay, so quick Google search, according to Canadian emergency first-aid responders any fall more than 16 feet could result in serious injuries that can lead to death, so that 22 foot fall in Cant Let Go is a real killer. I still think "I'd probably die" is the right tier for this though because people have survived way higher falls than that.
Yeah, I do think the ability to fall great heights is a bit overestimated in this video. However, it's worth noting that falling into water or onto a trampoline (jump pad) or whatever would make it way easier up to a point There's also a lot of falls in later levels that are almost as bad, even like 13:53 in Xstep would be deadly imo

I have proof electroman adventures would kill you. 17:26 I looked at some of the blue pads and you move 1 1/2 blocks (1.5 meters) or around 5 feet in only 0.08 seconds. Doing the math, that is 62.5 feet per seconds or 42 miles per hour… in this part, you are being slammed back in forth, AT 42 MILES PER HOUR. This is all assuming you can actually make it through the part though. With gd you’re constantly moving right, so you don’t have to worry about how to keep moving. In real life, you wouldn’t be able to manage your way through the air without any ground or game mode changes to let you speed yourself up. You would have to get a fast start, which would cause you to get off the correct path in the beginning. You would also slow down near the end. Now, you might be able to push off the pads, which brings me back to my previous point. You can’t precisely move and push off of the pads while also breaking your neck and getting a concussion at 42 miles per hour multiple times a second.
I'm not sure you realize how bad it would be if you ran a flying car into the ceiling or crashed into the floor, also just scrapping along it would be rough. Fun stuff though!

Also I forgot to mention that since pads launch you less when you're the mini cube the boost height scales by player size, so you'd get boosted higher as a human (being bigger than the cube and all) and would probably have a lower chance of surviving pads, especially considering the red pads in Fingerdash that you conveniently ignored

The most dangerous part about the upside down parts imo is the moment you go through the portal where you have to prepare yourself properly and put your arms up before going through or your head will hit the ceiling
Counter-argument to mirror portals:They'd probably just, instead, make the level rotate around you in the same way as GD, meaning you have to turn yourself around after going through the portal to continue playing the level.
I have already made IRL physics in geometry dash, you need to make about x1.50 gravity depending on your jump height IRL, then you place a x0.75 timewarp and 3x speed portal so it feels like a more natural jump and still syncs, the 3x speed also makes I be able to jump triple spikes (I think I can do that IRL if every unit in 1 centimeter and every block is 30 units)
About jump pads on back on track's pillar pads there's a few centimeters of space which is enough to grab on the ledge and pull yourself up and drop down on the other side (note bad hitboxes again) and tiptoe across the spikes without breaking your legs
I have to observe that since it would be IRL, it would mean you could have a time to lift blocks making some painful or impossible jumps possible, but we have to take account the person's strength and how heavy each one of the blocks are.
I had a funny idea of throwing gd levels at people, forcing them to go through them, like the level is moving instead of them, to get to me, like as an attack.
If we're applying real life physics to this, then a lot of objects would be a lot less deadly. Only the tip of spikes would be deadly while the rest can be safely touched. Also the bumpy ground spikes introduced in xStep wouldn't be deadly at all, it would be like just walking on a bumpy floor. Also, you could climb down some of the objects to avoid some fall damage.
Bro if your gravity is upside down the blood wont rush to your head, its being pulled the same direction as the rest of you. And you're going to see upside down, so aside from the actual transition itself, it does pretty much nothing except the floor is now the ceiling and the endless void is below you instead of above you.

So if one grid space = 30cm, a triple spike would roughly be a 2 foot jump. And it's safe to say that any one block gaps would be as small as your average household air duct. Definitely too small. If we assume it's 1 inch, 1 grid space would be 30 inches, which is exactly 2 and a half feet. one block gaps would be a tight crawl, and any non-roofed jumps would be very manageable.
i said that to give myself some sort of debuff in the upside down segments. if im upside down, gravity in general still points down, so even though im sticking to the ceiling, regular gravitational effects are stil in play imo
The speed changes would be more dangerous than you think. You’ve lasted your whole life knowing exactly how fast you move and how easy it is to move that fast. When you suddenly move twice the speed you normally do, you’d probably accidentally slam yourself into a wall or a spike/saw.
for saws and spikes, fair point, but honestly slamming into a wall at double my running speed wouldn't be *that* bad, itd hurt, but i dont think itd kill me
if you have the limitations of the cube, i'd say it wouldn't be far fetched to say pads, portals, and orbs wouldn't cause fall damage. also gravity portals/orbs/pads would invert the gravity of your entire body, including your blood, so it wouldn't feel too uncomfortable.
