- Tygr and Dr. Miles discuss bilirubin elevation on your labs. Why is it high? What do I do next?
Bilirubin can be high from various obstructions, damage to red blood cells, and liver function impairment. Watch our video to learn more.
Omg the way he says bilirubin at the beginning 😂😂😂thank you for the humour in researching my health issues
Very informative and entertaining!
Great vid. Very clear
Seriously, I know people who have this and they live in alot of pain. It effects each individual differently.
Don't mean to disrespect the doctor. There is conjugated and unconjugated billirubin. If your billirubin is high it is extremely important to know which one is high. Is the red blood cell broken up prematurely, or is the issue with the kidney. Most cases of high billirubin are not associated with the Gilbert disease.
Direct vs. Indirect proportions aid in diagnosis?

Pancreas Do a video on that !! Please ! My son has a enlarged pancreas and he gets jaundice but he also has Gilbert syndrome which puts a wrench in the jaundice because the doctor always writes it off as a Gilbert syndrome and now we come to find out that he has an enlarged pancreas.
Hi, How did you discover the enlarged pancreas?

You‘re not giving any advice on what to do… Why name your video „what to do“ ?
Great comment.....I'm also waiting to see what to do....Dr says the person lacks a needed enzyme. All is well & is a benign condition. Then, what causes it will b the course of action. Then, the Dr has you wait a month or two to re-check.
Aldo, the bile is obstructed by gall stones or it is cancer. The Dr will then examine the bile ducts.
The bilirubin prevents HEART DISEASE. WOW! That's cool
