What exactly defines metal?
I just want to expand my musical horizons, I have been enjoying metalcore as of late but don't get where the criticism lies.
@@Sunnysideanyway The difference in sound. Metalcore can be heavy but it lacks that fullness and spirit of true metal I'd say, also those typical chuga chuga guitar riffs and breakdowns are not typical for heavy metal and it's neighboring subgenres.
As a death metal fan - you kinda have to be a super nice person because gutteral lyrics of ritual disembowelment help you remove any negative vibes ~~~
Time to send this to my metalhead friend, will come back with updates.
As someone who has nearly no experience with metal I can confirm that this is probably accurate to a greater or lesser extent
As a Christian nu-metal fan, I am speechless 😂
i don’t even listen to metal. i wanted to send this to my friend. the punk part called me out when i least expected it ☠️.
As a sabaton fan, i can confirm that sabaton is the only band i know.
Power Metal not being mentioned in the video and in the comments is such a Power Metal moment.
3:02 as a Metalhead i can confirm
Is it bad that I immediately recognized that logo for the how they make their logos
1:58 very accurate, last year I was the only one who got all the questions on the history test right, most were about the WW2, thank you Sabaton
Lmao the history class bit is way too true, i was literally top of my school because i listened to Sabaton that much. They awarded me some extra letter of achievement upon graduation.
As a Nu-Metal fan, I agree with your statement
0:39 ok thanks for reminding me that i make the best riffs in existence
As a Sabaton fan, I can confirm that I'm the history buff of my class 💀
As a Sabaton fan one of the 2 things are true. I know a lot more Metal music and I listen to other bands. The other is true though
As a Blue Stahli & Celldweller fan, I don't feel challenged enough by this!
Bro Celldweller's music in dr2 got me into metal/rock in general, I absolutely love his music, I just wish the third studio album (End of An Empire) was less context oriented.
No, I dug em before they were known for dr2 score
Me patiently waiting for symphonic metal to be mentioned:
The Sabaton jokes hit a little close to home
