Im excited to watch this!! Im growing out my hair and its almost to my belly button but i do have some questions, i get so scared that whatever i do will break off my length even though I moisturize my hair. I just get scared to wear it down,i recently got a protective style because i was just not treating my hair right,i kept the style moisturized and clean and it grew alot but now that its out im worried about whatever i do ill break it off but i do want to wear it out,ive been wearing 1 or 2 braids. When i wear it down how should i sleep in it? I usually sleep with it up in a clawclip. And how long can i leave my hair in braids before taking them out for a braid out,is 1 to 2 days too soon? My hair is a looser curl pattern but i get alot of shrinkage. My shrinkage is to my shoulders.

Sounds like you're doing the right thing with your hair by keeping it in protective styles. Plus shrinkage is a really good thing that lets you know that your hair is healthy! Wearing it out shouldn't break your hair off. I've noticed that when I have my hair in hairstyles that are too tight that's when I experience breakage, but wearing it out/down shouldn't harm your hair. When I do a wash n' go I usually just stuff all my hair in my bonnet lol or I'll wear a headscarf. For a braid out I take down my braids once they are fully dry, so 1 to 2 days is the perfect time! It sounds like you're taking great care of your hair so I wouldn't worry too much 😊! Peace, Love, and Light to You 💖

Your hair may need a protein treatment. My hair dose the same thing when I straighten it then it gets back curly after a month or two.

Thanks imma look into it! What type of protein treatment do you usually use?

@@glowravenI usually gravitate more towards avocado’s, bananas, yogurt, eggs or mayonnaise. If you don’t want to go through the messy process then the 2 step protein treatment from Aphogee is good too. It’s in a purple bottle at your local beauty supply store. Although for me personally I would rather go the more natural route with using bananas and avocados. Just blend it together in the blender and add you favorite oils of your choice and honey for shine.
