Joanne is an excellent interviewer, asking all the right questions while expressing genuine compassion. I wish most of the popular newspeople could interview as she does.
Sorry to hear about California's wildfires especially altadena California I've always wanted to live in altadena crazy snow storms in the South especially in Georgia more snow than I've ever seen in my few years that I've lived there 2025 is a crazy time right now
I wouldn’t rebuild there, insurance companies won’t cover you, and it will burn again, or maybe even an earthquake. No way I could go through that again.
@ That’s weird, did they see this coming? It’s so hard and expensive to rebuild just to have something happen again, especially when you have no coverage. So does that mean it’s hard to get a home loan there if you can’t get home insurance?
@@teresaursua6138 15 year's ago. Makes you realize you don't need but so much , hell with rest. Look how much building they going to be doing there now that's good for economy, make me think was it set. Or not. Cause they know celebrities had insurance
I am truly sorry that you have been through this horrible experience. I would not wish it on anyone. the people and animals are in my prays. My heart goes out to all the people and animals affected, it is heartbreaking. These experiences humble you because it reminds us that no matter how big a human ego is, we are nothing compared to outside forces and the force of nature. I truly hope that this is an awakening call and a reminder about what really is important and to put our eyes on long forgotten issues, like the homeless (people and animals). And I am not just talking about those who lost their homes to the fire, but those who were already homeless before this fire, they have lost their homes perhaps not to the fire but for other reasons and they are living on the streets exposed to danger and inclement weather for longer. I think that the problem of homelessness has been a long-standing and huge problem that is growing in California, and unfortunately not enough has been done to solve it and help this people to get a better life situation.
Theses gentkeman, that saved his moms house, care WARRIORS. Thank you for your bravery. You came back and fought. Doesn't matter what you all used or how, YOU GUYS DID IT. ❤❤❤❤❤
@@rodrigoherrera279 i think he's suggestion that they didn't have the preparation needed for something of this magnitude. They ran out of water all over the city. Lots of brush thats surrounding the homes hasnt been properly taken care of so they can keep a frogs habitat alive. Lots of rules that made it impossible to avoid things like this from happening. How would someone leave their pets? I was in wildfire in Colorado I managed to take my large fish aquarium in the backseat of my pickup. I had a cat and a dog and a bunch of tropical fish. If I had more time I would have taken my plants.
Judgment for the old grannies in the retirement center that had to be evacuated? Judgment for the raccoons too? I didn't see the awards go up in flames
The news reporters are doing a fantastic job as well. It must be draining to hear all of the sad stories from people who lost everything.

Remind people to not wear those yellow traffic vests near fire and heat. They melt and catch fire easily.

The insurance companies cancelled over 75 thousand policies in this area in March last year.

It would be too difficult to rebuild. CA woke rules, restrictions, laws make it too expensive.
The human spirit is unbeatable, fire, flood, wind, we come through.
I've lost stuff too lighting. Hate that for everyone
Im so sorry. ❤
