Part 2 and more 7.3 stuff
If I remember the forums on IATN correctly. These old beasts needed the fuel tank cleaned out and a fuel pump if the fuel pump sock was clogged. This was every 200k miles or so.

you know I build these thing I do conversions on GM ford dodge and even some Cars ...and I just finished fixing a bad conversion by a company that says they have been in Business fir 60 years but the owners are only are under 40 years old and the company has only been in business for 10 years ........ but I have seen Quigley's they are Very well put together kits

I thought that badge on steering wheel was above 03 but I know they only made 7.3s until mid year of 03... learn somthing new

I had 1 03 , 7.3 with a 4X4 kit in it once when i was at the dealer.
I'd say the twin screens in your sending unit most likely clogged with brown boogers. Saw my share of restrictions. I'd change out the fuel filter as well. You may find funkyness in there as well, maybe a piece of a rubner glove lol. Also i'd change.out the water in fuel semder along with a drain spout kit.
Some thoughts,,
I'd check be having a look at that EBP sensor plug. Could'nt hurt to inspect the Map sesnsor hose along with the sensor nipple and intake nipple for clogs.
when my little filters clogg it spit and spudders under load and dosnt smoke

Great video as I’m a 7.3 owner and that camera is freakin dope! This is why I bypassed the tank filters with a tank sump and added a separate fuel filter/water separator. Love to see a part 2 with it fixed.
Great video! Those 4x4 Econlines are really awesome vans! I don't think this information will help, but I know the main engine harness runs against drivers valve cover and known rub through wires? looking forward to part 2 brother! Heck yeah! Thanks for sharing!

OH DOES THIS BAD BOY REMIND ME OF THE OLE DAYS!! It reminds me of rigs(ambulances) back in the day... they would positively fly, and incredibly reliable. The ole XLT 350 made awesome platforms.🙏💜

Theres a green 4x4 E350 over here in Buffalo with a Boss V-plow on it! I think it's a 6.0 diesel(but might be 7.3 -cant remember) with super duty front axle swapped into it, plus transfercase obviously. Its a coomon thing to do, theres a couple companies that sell kits & you source your own axle & case from junkyard. It is pretty sweet to see a van out plowing snow here.

Conversion van. Squiggly unit. We worked on the all the time here in Moab. That's how I grew to hate vans!
They make 6.0 versions! Very fun! 😂
