Same! I immediately went back to watch.
I was there the very first time they performed this song live during the Carnival of Madness tour in 2012 in El Paso, Texas! It was a complete surprise for the crowd, I recorded and uploaded to youtube :) Can't believe they finally sang it again, so many memories.

Since you did this, they recorded this in the studio and released it on UA-cam - you should revisit this one in studio, it's phenomenal and gives the song and the ladies their due respect.
So, good news! There's a full studio version of this collab coming at the end of summer.

The one good thing that came from 2020 was people realizing how damn good a vocalist Lizzy Hale is. She's been working with EVERYONE and just did a duet with The Hu called Song of Women and did background vocals on Amy's new song Use My Voice.

This song, and in particular, the 2012 collaboration is how I found Halestorm in the first place. I was searching on UA-cam for Evanescence/Amy Lee videos and that video cropped up and I was instantly hooked.
Recommended Halestorm video for Lzzy's vocals: "I'm not an Angel" from the Millennium Music Conference in 2011, or the Live in Philadelphia show.
Also, their cover of Empire State of Mind.

Pretty sure they've been friends for a long time. Being a woman front to any variation of harder rock isn't easy. They're all relatively friendly and/or know of each other in these areas.
