These two ladies are an epic combination. Loved every second of it.
Lzzy’s voice has improved dramatically. She was always great, but the kind of control she has now is far beyond anything she was a capable of when the original version was recorded. This exceeds the principal on every conceivable level.
I was always interested in how Lzzy would sound singing this now since her voice has changed since. She still absolutely smashes it just like back then and of course, Lindsey is amazing as well!
I agree about what you said about Lzzy and was wondering the same about her voice, but as much as I love Lindsey, I think she was doing playback. Check at 3:23, the bow isn't on the violin and the song is still playing, also you can tell the only live thing about this was Lzzy because all the electronic stuff from the original track was there as well
It wasn't play back you can see at that part Lindsey's pulling the specific strings with her fingers so the beat is the only thing not live both Lindsey and Lzzy are
Lzzy's changed voice I think makes the song sound even better than 6 years ago for sure
Lindsay is indeed doing playback. In the beginning, she does pizzicato up on the fingerboard but we hear the notes one octave higher
My guesses are is that Lindsey prerecorded this when she was already recording something else and just recorded the video to go with it
