The Ford delivery wagon was by far my favorite. You know, I check the “like” button before I even view the video. Why? Because no matter what you present, it holds my interest, rocks my world a bit, includes family, and you face problems like a man and find solutions. Great channel, Silas!
I like sedan deliveries in general, though they are easier to drive if they have a window on the right, as are cargo vans, I also liked that G van from which he got the transmission, as I usually like '70s better than '50s, though i'm indifferent to Chevy K series, preferring Dodge D and W. I even own Dodge B and W.
Just let all the people that subscribe are that just watch this channel, this man is a rare person now a day. I e mailed him about a car I saw and he sent me the pictures I ask for sooner then I expected with his busy schedule. We couldn't make a deal because of myself ,but to have someone do that wright away really surprised me. So if you ever do see something he has and are interested in some infor he does his best to look out for you. I hope to in the future to buy a car are two from him. His prices are more then fair ,he just wants to save as many as he can . Thank you again for the videos
Wowzers that '62 Corvair Monza sedan is a 4 speed too! I love my '62 Corvair Monza sedan! Corvairs are awesome and underrated cars. I've got a wrecked '66 Corvair Corsa parts car that I wanna cut up for art. I have early models, late models and Forward Controls Corvairs, and love them all. Everyone assumes my '65 Corsa convertible is my favorite, but I have just as much fun in my sedans and Rampsides! Looking forward to getting my '62 Monza station wagon going! Love the 56 Mercury Pheaton too! That Courier is definitely worth saving too.
Always a big fan of the N series trucks. I have a 1968 N600 in one of the machine sheds. The cab and frame looks just like the one I have. It's got a 361 cid engine and it'll run.
I like that 56 yellow and black Mercury got there that sure brings back memories my dad was a general manager of a Mercury dealership back then we always had two Mercury's in the family back then his 56 was a white Montclair with blue trim under the windows it was beautiful,, those were the days when they made real cars that didn't need a wind tunnel
Again, saw my favorite tweety bird canary yellow 1973 Plymouth fury coupe. That and the 1959 ford 4 door that came in with the old early 50’s Buick on the trailer were my two favorite cars for today. The 4 door Corvair shown at the end was runner up for 3rd place.
SAD THAT PEOPLE DONT SHOW UP ,, ITS A JOB FOR YA!!! AND TIME.. AND MONEY.. WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE CAMERA ANIMAL VIDEOS ON THIS CHANNEL MY SON MAX SAYS 8 YR.S OLD ,, GREAT VIDEO , .. HOPE TO SEE YOUR TRIP VIDEOS.. THX.

Vintage and Antique Cars are sooooo very Interesting and some You save and some You Re-Sell - thats how the Hamster Wheel works ! You are a very Busy Boy - but hey - Busy is Good ! Yes - take a few Days off and Re-Charge Your Battery - well Deserved ! Very Nice Video and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Nice to see the rotation of the cars in your compound , you keep it in shape so that your stock is easily available . thank you for another interesting video . Stuart in Canada ..
Wish I lived closer to you..I would love to list and pkg up sales of the smaller pieces for you. I think that would be an awesome job! And a real money maker..takes a lot of time!
Can I ask how much you paid for getting your truck detailed? Is it a mobile unit that comes to you? Or? 😂 I think a wash and interior vacuumed is about 25 dollars here in California. Just wondering. A really good wash wax and interior cleaned with a toothbrush is 100+ but the vehicle looks AMAZING! 😊😊
I always show my husband the vehicles you show just to see if he knows what they are. He usually is spot on. I still find that fascinating. Anyway, he said "Where does he get all these cars?" You find such a variety. I really like that because I see vehicles I never know existed. :D I've seen a drone show on youtube. I bet it's awesome in real life. I guess they use a computer program to do that. I can't imagine separate people coordinating how they move.
I just watched a couple of your videos … great content ! I thought it was a nice touch when you added the piano-ish audio overtop the montage .. well done Silas
I love that Ford delivery car. I'm not really a Ford guy. But if you have a Ford pickup panel van from the fifties and I think he prefers 56. I've got somebody who would like to buy one. He quietly builds cars and Harleys for the people. Anyway he's real cool 😎 guy
for the small things on pallets. you might want to get stickers and put them under the first bord so they don't get wet. or either number the pallet and keep a pocket-sized notebook to keep the price and description of the part. might be too confusing if you mix pallets though ?
@3:00 that should just be a 1956 Mercury Pheaton Custom 4 door hard top. My father and I built one in the last 90s early 00s and we drove it all over Tennessee to several car shows, nobody had ever heard of one back then they are so rare. It should have a very limited production 312 Y block, good luck on parts for that engine, only made it for 3 or 4 years and the 312 was the least produced. The other variants had tons of parts but even when we built that one we couldn't find 312 parts and when the engine quit on us that was the straw that broke the camels back, my father sold it cheap and went back to Chevy vehicles. Only Ford product I cab ever remember him building for car shows.
Hi Silas, that old ford you called a courier, Down under in Australia there known as a station wagon, with the fold down backseats. to make bed space or as a covered ute space.
Salis you do make great videos ! Canada here and the auto yards here in Halifax , Nova Scotia Canada . some charge $ 4.00 just to walk into their yard and then the customer has to pull their own parts then pay 50 percent of original cost of item like a $ 400 starter cost $ 200 at the scrap yard plus 15% tax but they do give a 30 day warranty. And with the snow and salt here most of the cars are just rust buckets , so they don't pay much if anything for the cars lol. Sounds like your prices are pretty reasonable. Thanks again for the great videos.
You’re a very honest Christen man I watch a lots off your video not the first curse word and that need something you can watch this days if some of the spelling wrong for give me I had to go to work at 16 my daddy passed and my mom never worked so I went to work to help take care of the family
Salis those were some great old cars and trucks I. Enjoyed the video where you go to the auction and buy and you see it at the yard no weeds grown around it and all its glory looks a lot better.thank you Salis.
I watch your video while I'm at work with nothing to do and then I look up my security camera and see all the snow and your video just makes me that much more depressed lol
You don't have to remove the oil pan to determine engine size. Both heads and block will have ECZ stampings that indicate a 312 Y-block. On 5-6 Fords The serial number starts with a letter U-272, M-292, P-312 or A - 6 cyl usually found on Couriers.
Maybe if you did start selling parts and shipping it is profitable you could maybe build a small space and hire someone to pack the parts after sold and have Fed Ex or UPS stop by to pick up and ship for you.👍
Which one was your favorite?
Belive it or not the Corvair.
How much do you think a old sears 10 speed is worth fair condition? I have one I why I'm asking
@@JohnShinn6078me too

All the antique vehicles you allow us to see is a treat in itself.
You're getting that yard in order. Great work.
Some of those vehicles you have can be fixed up, running and sold.😊👍

Great video as usual, Congrats on the 91.8k subs!

My trail cam died about 2 days later so I haven’t gotten that one done yet!
I like trucks and cars a nice piece of American cars history we all drive a different way here in great Britain
Loved the Corvair HAD ONE YEARS AGO AND NOW VERY HARD TO FIND
So far, all of the vehicles you’ve brought to your yard are my favorite. You have a great eye on what you need to use on future projects Silas! Thanks
Real antique with that St. Francis Hospital jeep from ICT....called Ascension Via Christi now...
Those cars you took off the trailer just need some TLC and paint jobs then can be sold for a profit.😊👍
LOVED THE CORVAIR HAD ONE YEARS AGO NOW VERY HARD TO FIND TODAY HERE IN KENTUCKY
Very good video this week. I love seeing the old cars more than the newer.
Very nice
Thanks for sharing

Hi Silas, that old ford you called a courier, Down under in Australia there known as a station wagon, with the fold down backseats. to make bed space or as a covered ute space.
Here in the US, a station wagon has windows all around. This vehicle has no back side windows, so it’s not a station wagon here,
Do you have an underground shelter for tornados? 😊
Love that music,Nocturnal Waltz.
Be safe and careful.😊👍🙏
Sedan delivery. Cool. Corvair. Four door. Very. Cool. Thanks

Nice square body Chevy box.
Hi there hope you are having a great day love watching you on UA-cam god bless
Matt's off-road recovery on UA-cam collects corvairs and whatever else related to corvair that he can get his hands on
Still amazing to me how much old stuff is out there waiting to be discovered.
Same here, so many 50's cars laying around everywhere. Didn't bother bring it to the junkyard.
Love the delivery. I have a 57 setting in the weeds. Hopefully start on it soon

292 used ecz blocks and heads as well. 56 mercury had a 312 as the only engine option, but that doesn’t mean someone didn’t drop a 292 in it.
Matt's Off Road Recovery would possibly be interested in the 62 corvair.. he travels all over to gather them up.. He's on UA-cam as well..
Cool video as always. I'm kind of surprised you don't find more motorcycles out there. Must be no one rides.
The big body Mopar 4-door with the chromed visor
Just fix them up to look good and running and good to go.👍
I'm very respectful of silas
Video idea can you do a junk tour of all the not crushed cars and maybe do a demolition derby with the cars that run but have no value
Maybe if you did start selling parts and shipping it is profitable you could maybe build a small space and hire someone to pack the parts after sold and have Fed Ex or UPS stop by to pick up and ship for you.👍
matts off road recovery would buy that corar
I'm surprised about the Corvair, since they way outclass fullsize Chevys in my book.
LIKE THAT FORD COURIOR !
Good evening Silas
Come on over to upstate New York. We'll show you rough! Lol
I heard that someone sued Red Bull because it didn’t give them actual wings, and they won.
that mercury is sooooo dang cool looking.
I think that one you couldn't find goes to a old 8N Ford flat head tractor
That Mercury can be fixed up and sold too.
Junkin' Never Stops
And the other 2.😊👍
