    Like always, thank you so much Rachel. Since you mentioned it, I remember flying a lot the RealAir Duke in FSX, and even now, a few years down the runway, I really enjoy watching this beautiful bird featured in the excellent FSMANIA's channel, a great real world pilot and enthusiast simmer. This might be for the nostalgics :)

    I instantly bought the bundle. Can confirm, they're both absolutely lovely. Piston version has cool supercharger sounds, too!
    Probably the last plane i'll buy for a good, long while, partially because i wanna give this baby the time she deserves, but also because i actually pivoted a lot more toward helicopters, lately. Turns out shorter flights with more stops and variety suit me much better than going A-B is a straight-ish line all the time. :P
    So now, i have the Piston and Turbine Dukes, as well as the HPG 145 and 160. All of which pretty comprehensive aircraft modules to really study and sink my teeth into. It's a golden age of flight sim!

    This is the version I picked up, since sadly I couldn't afford the bundle, but I still don't regret any of it. This is by far the best GA addon I've seen for msfs to date

    I had both the piston and turbine versions in FSX and P3D and accumulated getting on for 1200 hours overall with about 800 on the B60. The turbine version was super fun but I could never get to grips with the power levers to ensure a decent taxy speed and as a result I completed a round the world trip in the piston one. So much friendlier.

    I absolutely love this add-on. It’s surprisingly quick compared to the Chancellor 414. This will likely supplant that as my cross-country tourer.
    I got both the piston and turbine version and I’m preferring the piston so far. I even got better performance out of it but that could have just been wind conditions on those flights. More testing is needed. I also had the same autopilot struggles until I found the pitch trim power switch just above the engine controls. I’m a big fan of these older GA aircraft with their unique primitive autopilots. They’re always a lot of fun to figure out and use.

  • @geebee2262

    The Piston is just as good. I landed it as smooth as your landing first time. It does what you want it to do. I can see why they are still popular in the real world. They are popular in the sim too, someone said Just Flight's page went down earlier. I'm going to do a lot of touring in these.

      @@QuantumGamingUploads The Piston one sounds great and I am a fan of older engine tech anyway so I would say out of the two of them I would get the piston if you like the sounds and things like older engines. Although I will say I had some credit on just flight and ended up getting both of them for like $64, one of them would have cost me $47.99, So for 20 more bucks I got both of them I think it's worth it to spend the extra 20 bucks if you have it available because then you'll never have to go back and spend $47.99 on the other if you want it eventually

      I am beginning to weight my purchases toward
      aircraft that make it easier to bind to all my flight sim hardware - CH yoke, Virpil control panel, Thrustmaster TCA, CH throttle quadrnt, Puma pro-flight, …
      I want immersion, so when a developer makes an awesome aircraft … only to make it take hours to discover which signals are used and then create bindings, it is frustrating.😡

    Ground physics are absolutely horrible. Most, if not all of the default MSFS aircraft have much better flight dynamics. I invite anyone watching this to pull up any other video of the B60 duke for MSFS (turbine or piston version) and watch how no one can track runway centerline on takeoff.

    • @AvAngel
      @AvAngel  2 місяці тому

      It didn't seem THAT bad on roll... torque is a thing.
