  • DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a PA-46 expert. I am a low-time PA-46 pilot/instructor who is constantly learning and simply wants to provide my input on this airplane.
In this video we check out FSReborn's FSR500 on a flight from El Paso to Odessa, Texas. Along the way we discuss everything there is to know about this airplane, the good and the bad. Enjoy!

I really hope they do add that GCU 476 in an update because as a VR flyer that would make my life so much easier.

Every time I touch the Trim the AP disconnects is that realistic or a bug? thank you appreciate the video this is the best FSR 500 video on youtube by far.

That is realistic. Activating the electric trim switch would disconnect the autopilot in the real airplane.
      Thanks for the kind words!

@@thepilotblake Subscribed from Australia. This is the ANTI Fast Times Vero channel. At least you know what you are doing compared to the Clown who treats MSFS as an arcade game.

pretty sure most of the discrepancies between the sim and reality with the gen/alt and lights are fixed in the upcoming patch. Also I know they did something with changing landing performance, not sure if that includes fixing the wrong power settings and slow down effect. I hope so.

I sent this video to Raul and he and I had a long talk about it. Several things I discussed in this video will be fixed in coming updates including the gen/alt issue. Some of the things I talked about are limitations in the sim that he can’t help unfortunately which he said includes the slow down effect, but he seemed to think he found a workaround to make it better so let’s hope. However, he didn’t mention anything about the discrepancy in the approach numbers or about the lights getting fixed but I hope those issues will also be addressed soon

So no stall heater on takeoff? I'm so used to the TBM where you flip on both always.

In the PA46 it’s only pitot heat that is on from takeoff to landing. Stall heat comes on prior to entering icing conditions

    Looks sensitive in yaw.

I think they’ve done some work on that. Last time I flew the airplane it felt different. Of course yaw sensitivity is something we can adjust in our MSFS settings if needed
