Thank you seth when they were passing that picture around with all of the Anime Martial Artist asking who would win equal stats. The MMA people were like Goku barely Grapples and I was like Is Goku still a Saiyan or is he 100% Human? If he still a Saiyan just with Human level stats he has the ability to adapt due to his Saiyan Instincts. There was this one guy talking about Baki being able to adapt during a fight and I was like if u are going to give him that then u have to also give Goku and Vegeta their natural Saiyan Instinct ability. Now if u want to say Goku will lose because he is 130 pounds vs Baki is I think over 200 pounds that is a different story.
You know the think about the Baki argument is true since I've been doing some Baki scaling and I could vouch on what Seth said since it's not until the end of the series that Baki gets high tier adaptability and even then it can be Countered by someone who has the exact same ability or has the same ability but better
In my opinion, If all characters are reduced to ONLY hand-to-hand combat (no ki, no ki-sensing, or power multiplier techniques), then Batman would likely win. He has the most experience fighting at standard human levels of power. Goku and Baki have thoroughly integrated exotic techniques into their fighting style and it would be jarring to be reduced to human-like levels. But note, they would both adapt fast. The longer Batman remains in combat, the greater the threat Baki and especially Goku will be. If combatants are limited to human stats AND are allowed techniques, then Goku sweeps this combat. Flight, Instant Transmission, and Ki blast techniques (even reduced to human strength levels) are way too big an asset for Batman and Baki to overcome.
I'm sceptical when farmers and random people talk about seeing UFOs, but when highly experienced fighter pilots and engineers start talking about observing space craft that defy physics, that's when I listen. I think we've been visited by some being from another planet.
The issue with Dragon Ball and skill is that the series has tons of anti feats. People like Frieza who barely fought and has no training can take out people like Goku easy before SSJ. Same for people like the Androids and Buu in his forms before he absorbed any Martial Artists. We got a bunch of the characters in the ToP, Broly etc. Granted a decent amount of the time is the enemy just being stronger stat wise, but it doesn't make DB look good from a martial arts skill standpoint when the best martial artists in the series could fight evenly with or get ran down on by people without much skill at all in comparison
No matter how skilled you are, it's unfathomably difficult to compete with someone 40 times stronger and faster than you (Using Goku vs Frieza here pre Super Saiyan as my example)- DBZ characters even managing to survive encounters where the gap of power between them and their opponent is that huge is an accomplishment imo.

While goku may be a "martial arts master" most of the fights I've seen (not caught up with the anime yet) him dominate are because he is much stronger than the opponent (or gains a new form). With skills, gadgets, etc. I think goku slaps both of them with low or no difficulty.

Thank you seth when they were passing that picture around with all of the Anime Martial Artist asking who would win equal stats. The MMA people were like Goku barely Grapples and I was like Is Goku still a Saiyan or is he 100% Human? If he still a Saiyan just with Human level stats he has the ability to adapt due to his Saiyan Instincts. There was this one guy talking about Baki being able to adapt during a fight and I was like if u are going to give him that then u have to also give Goku and Vegeta their natural Saiyan Instinct ability.
Now if u want to say Goku will lose because he is 130 pounds vs Baki is I think over 200 pounds that is a different story.

In my opinion, If all characters are reduced to ONLY hand-to-hand combat (no ki, no ki-sensing, or power multiplier techniques), then Batman would likely win. He has the most experience fighting at standard human levels of power. Goku and Baki have thoroughly integrated exotic techniques into their fighting style and it would be jarring to be reduced to human-like levels. But note, they would both adapt fast. The longer Batman remains in combat, the greater the threat Baki and especially Goku will be.
If combatants are limited to human stats AND are allowed techniques, then Goku sweeps this combat. Flight, Instant Transmission, and Ki blast techniques (even reduced to human strength levels) are way too big an asset for Batman and Baki to overcome.

I'm sceptical when farmers and random people talk about seeing UFOs, but when highly experienced fighter pilots and engineers start talking about observing space craft that defy physics, that's when I listen. I think we've been visited by some being from another planet.
The issue with Dragon Ball and skill is that the series has tons of anti feats. People like Frieza who barely fought and has no training can take out people like Goku easy before SSJ. Same for people like the Androids and Buu in his forms before he absorbed any Martial Artists. We got a bunch of the characters in the ToP, Broly etc.
Granted a decent amount of the time is the enemy just being stronger stat wise, but it doesn't make DB look good from a martial arts skill standpoint when the best martial artists in the series could fight evenly with or get ran down on by people without much skill at all in comparison
No matter how skilled you are, it's unfathomably difficult to compete with someone 40 times stronger and faster than you (Using Goku vs Frieza here pre Super Saiyan as my example)- DBZ characters even managing to survive encounters where the gap of power between them and their opponent is that huge is an accomplishment imo.

While goku may be a "martial arts master" most of the fights I've seen (not caught up with the anime yet) him dominate are because he is much stronger than the opponent (or gains a new form). With skills, gadgets, etc. I think goku slaps both of them with low or no difficulty.

If Goku takes him by surprise with an Instant Transmission Kamehameha, or really just lands something point blank, it will do serious damage, and could mean the difference in a win.
I think another thing people don't take into account is how Saiyans grow in power in battle as well. Sure, Batman and Goku could start even, but do you think he's gonna grow in power as quickly as Kakarot mid fight?
