msd electronic dept told me years ago never use that type of lube on your plug wires, use wd40 to help seat the wires on cap or plugs, it evaporates and leaves a good tight water proof seal. that type of lube can actually block the current. its to be used to keep heat build up on items like the modules.

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 4.8l motor without a distributor cap. It does have a coil per cylinder.

I have a 99 Chevy express 1500 with a 5.7 I forget which way I took the rotar off is there a way to know if I put it on correct or not???
Rotor I got won’t let me get the screws in the holes guess I’ll go buy a different brand in the morning
the cap literally says the cylinder each wire goes to
1:24 cap is blue then it changes to black. 🤣
