Thanks for all the info! I just got an eagle for my yak, haven't been out with it yet but it would be nice to be able to set it up at home instead of on the water.
Great vid guys, there not much on the eagles I have just bought one. Would love to see a video on these setting for each mode a more advanced one cheers
the eagle is just the newer model of the hook reveal. It's the replacement. If you're comparing with the same transducer and the same pixel screen size. Most likely be very similar most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Hey, I have the Ti2 12" on my boat. I can not get the depth number to show on the screen when I get my boat in the water. I've already watched the Ti2 setup video many times. I've also checked the number on the transducer cord, and made sure I have the unit set to that number. All the unit shows is the Depth word with the three lines. I have two of those units for over a year now, I don't know what to do.
@@henryclark5486 are you loosing it on plane or just idle in the water? Have you checked what source the unit is looking and is the correct one? Properly networked to that unit? Is the network for internal sonar channel 1 and 2 on and able to network (in the menu system)?
different frequencies at the same time. With a lowrance they dont cross talk. The 83 is wider than the 200. Better deeper penetration with the 83. More detail and shallower, but narrower on the 200khz.
@@adamarpa2447 well I am not a Garmin Guy. Might be a tad biased. Livescope is great, it’s the one thing they excel at. There 1/10 for user friendliness, 10year old processing power and the warranty is not great. Wrong update and you’ll brick a unit. Two years and it’s outdated. But watch your updates, and know what its limit is. When you’re researching units you have to think about future proofing it, what’s got the best features, warranty and bang for your buck. And the hidden costs of each cable and acessory you need. It really adds up. But ultimately it’s not about who’s got the best sidescan, or forward sonar, or 360, this or that. It’s a lot more to it. It’s about how you’re gonna use it and what system you want to stay with along with those other points. My HDS carbons are from 2017 are still relevant. Ultimately the choice is yours. I could spend hours talking about units.. lol

Another Amazing tutorial, so many nuggets of great info packed into each video you guys put up! I am thoroughly impressed!

Great video.
Is the sidescan better on the eagle 7 or the hook reveal 7 ?
Not sure if the eagle is worth the extra money..

Why do you run 2 separate sonar screens at the same time?

shouldn't interfere. Have you updated the unit yet from opening it new? I would check the updates on the website first.
