We spent a couple of days at the Station Inn in Cresson, PA watching the trains. There was no shortage of action, the trains were plentiful and most of them were in throttle 8 - just screaming. Many were also equipped with helper locomotives to get over the Allegheny's. On the morning of the 24th we start the day off with a blizzard (09:57) and the Amtrak Pennsylvanian #42 coming out of the snow with #513 B32-8WH for power and a 'Pennsylvanian' private coach on the tail end. Later on snow calms down (just for a bit) and the sun comes out for an ethanol train led by the 'Nickel Plate' Heritage Unit NS 8100 (11:42) barking hard. Don't forget to turn up your speakers!
