@henrycoy1515 I could not agree with you more.
@@nedim_guitarNo it is a bad take. We have a rich heritage of country and folk music, bluegrass, and spirituals, gospel, blues and RnR, then Thomas Payne, Thoreau, Twain, Hemingway, also the telephone, steam engine, airplane. Zappa was usually on target but missed here.
@lawrencehubbell9397 that's what I see & say too❗️You've got it right.
@@lawrencehubbell9397 Yeah, but that's mostly black music, black culture. Country music came from slaves' music. The steam engine etc isn't culture but industry and/or technology.
Just face it, American culture is just neo-liberal capitalism and the military industrial complex.
What about jazz and blues
It's not supported by most Americans. Jazz and blues gets zero coverage on television or radio.

It's a shame. It's the truest form of American music
@@chasharry4062 Unfortunately, the American establishment cares only about what generates the most money.
Still love Frank
Well that is is what your people created and now you play the other side !
Boy. Was this prophetic... why do you think some want to tear down every tradition in the country? They want to destroy
Poor clip; out of context. He knew blues and jazz are American culture will always "sustain" ..also, not a lot of people would "evaluate it" that way. But, he was wrapped up in the political world because he was targeted for many years. Toured a lot but, last I checked Frankie never moved out of that house in Laurel Canyon 😉 ...USA, baby! 😘
good to know
Rock n roll is better than all that crap.
