Several seasons wearing my barefoot Rangers have gotten me hooked on zero-drop soles. I have two pair of barefoot Rangers, a pair of barefoot African Troopers and a pair of AR8's with the zero-drop soles. Zero-drop soles seem to have remedied the hip-knee-ankle problems I've had since a youth misspent crashing motorcycles.

Excellent review Paul! I have been thinking about purchasing the Jim Green African Ranger for a while now and this video and your previous video on Jim Green were instrumental in me deciding to buy them today. I believe my African Ranger will be delivered in the next couple days.
I am from South Africa and i own 3 pairs of jim greens in fact my work pair get worn for generally 12 hours plus every day ……looking forward to order a custom pair
I'm ordering some this weekend. I just need to find my sizing because one shoe I own fits at size 13 and the other fits at 12 so I'm not sure what size to get.
I have not owned shoes in years after wearing cowboy boots and military boots shoes just don't feel right and definitely not the same quality. My AR8'S have gone up mountain, worked in a few fields as well around the city. I also wear cowboy boots depending on the day of course. I don't have the issue with the pedals in my vehicle, but I drive a full size van. LoL lots of room around the pedals. I couldn't handle the barefoot option, I need the support!! Which is one of the reasons I stopped wearing sneakers. They don't seem to have the support that boots have. Great video!!! Cheers beers and whiskey 🤠🥃

These used to be cheaper than the razorbacks. Can’t believe how much prices have gone up.
Prices are generally going crazy - at least the quality is still good here
You should try the barefoot version. They are excellent.

@@rickw9008 this is the fudge leather; but I treated them with leather balm to make them water-repellent - that made them darker
