EVERYTHING is made by Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese or Taiwanese slave labor. All companies steal and sell your personal data. All company shareholders have money in gambling, trafficking and extortion.
Everything you buy from Temu is the exact same stuff you buy from Amazon. I've actually done a comparison and found the EXACT SAME NAMED shops on Temu AND Amazon SELLING THE EXACT SAME ITEMS. With the exact same photos and descriptions etc.

But no one is grabbing them by the neck, putting a gun to their head and forcing them to set up as a drop shipping scalper. I don't feel charitable enough to call them middlemen, middlemen are people like distributors that spend time and money getting stuff onto store shelves, and keeping a stock of things for customers to have right then. They have to manage things like supply lines and employees, pay for their location, so on and so forth. No one really likes a middleman, but there are actual legitimate services that many do perform. They have a function. Dropshippers are either people desperately trying to hustle to escape poverty (understandable) but doing it unethically, or they're people that don't have any conscience/have fooled themselves into thinking they're necessary as the guy managing supply chains. So one element that's not being factored in is pretty much any item on Amazon that's like under under $15. You can normally find for cheaper in person or on other sites before shipping. Because of Amazon for prime and free shipping as well as other policies that hurt sellers. It pretty much forces sellers to calculate the price of shipping into their price so they are losing money. Like both the paint brushes and the pastels are more expensive by how much shipping would cost. There isn't really any room for profit.

I think the main reason I try hard not to buy from these kinds of places is the high probability of slave labor, but then again if all these things are literally from the same place probably everywhere is supporting slavery however aware or unaware.
Yea unfortunately, honestly only best thing you can do is look into each individual product your buying if you like but it’s hard never to get a 100% humain made product even big companies have been found doing shit like this. Sometimes you’ll be mislead even and find out later a product was made with slave labor.
That's exactly why I do not and will not use sites like Temu. The ONLY way they can have the price points they do are cheap / slave labor and subpar materials. I ACTIVELY avoid products made in China. Their "regulations" regarding literally everything from food safety to product safety are basically non-existent.
so glad people are realizing that sellers are doing this.. it rlly sucks, but my way of going about it is if youre buying literally anything reverse image search the product images (doesnt work everytime since sometimes the manufacturers copy others)
I'll be honest, sometimes it's worth it to me to buy my supplies on Amazon when it will arrive in 2 days rather than waiting for it to ship from China in 2 weeks or even a month.
I've noticed that some art retailers (Blick in particular) also have Amazon shops. I will use that if I don't need a whole "minimum order for free shipping" since I am 2 hours on BART from an actual Blick storefront (but half a day minimum to shop is not reasonable) and have Amazon Prime.
You do realize the reason temu is so cheap is they literally sell your info/data …..PS apparently a lot of you don’t seem to realize it’s not just your data it’s your PERSONAL INFO , THE SAME COMPANY USED TO OWN A GAMBLING APP but got called out and shut down for stealing PERSONAL INFO from users and selling it online LIKE BANK CARDS AND IDS- they sell your cards to others and your numbers ect which isn’t the same as just collecting data to sell things to you…you may like
Whenever I buy items from either Amazon or Temu, I comparison shop between them, as they do often have the same identical products. While, unsurprisingly, the majority of the time the prices are cheaper on Temu, you'd be surprised how many art supplies actually cost MORE on Temu than on Amazon.
There is on her main channel. I just found it. Look in her videos. I'll actually look up the actual name of that video so you can search it. I'm excited to watch it. I bought an absolutely beautiful handmade watercolor off of etsy once. Will do again. But I want to see specific seller on her vid because they look even better than what I got.
I have a mechanical pencil (or a pacer) that I've had for close to 26 years. It was from one of those cute Asian stationary stores and had Winnie-the-Pooh on the side. It no longer has Winnie on it and the clip broke off years ago, but it still works and is my go-to for sketching ❤
I got something similar from a dollar store, a full panda korean stationary set with a set of mechanical pencils. The pencils were fully metal and the leads were actually pretty good. I lost them, but they were awesome.
You got one thing wrong by adding shein there. Temu is not a manufacturer like shein is. Temu is just a giant marketplace with different stores and sellers. There are very similar websites to the temu like aliexpress and Amazon. They virtually operate the same. They host sellers and you can visit their shops. I was actually looking over there for a nail polish stand but I have no place to put it. I just wanted something nice to display my gels in and keep them separate from my traditional nail polishes now that I do both.
@@Waspinmymind I was saying how they don't operate the same as a business not that they aren't the same. Even Ali express has gambling type functions. I use that website sometimes for things I can't find anywhere. The difference is shein manufactures the things that they sell. The clothing is made by them. So you can imagine they underpay their staff or abuse them in some way. For the other two the difference is since they are a marketplace they don't make their own stuff. They just host sellers. So we can't get mad at them for work ethics because none of them make the stuff they sell. I got a phonecase (I have a Chinese branded phone a Xiaomi so they're hard to find on the market in Italy) from a store called nice store. Ali express did not make the phonecase. That Nice store made it and sold it. I posted this comment because plenty of people get angry at temu thinking they underpay the people that make the products but we have no way of knowing as they don't make anything but host shops and sellers.
@@cocochill1464 I'll say it again in short. People think shein and temu are the same but they do not operate again hence why it's wrong to group them all for being unethical when one doesn't really do unethical things.
I agree, lately I've been getting weird vibes from the watercolor that I bought from Temu, and I just recently found out that OTHER watercolors look the exact same. Super weird.
This all happens because of cheap labour. I know exactly how that is, worked for a company where the cheapest item was half of our payment plus usually people ordered large quantities so you can imagine how much the boss made on our poor labour.
10:29 Derwent make branded waterbrushes, I own one and its really good, its lasted me a few years, I prefer my normal watercolour brushes though, less plastic, but it is handy. They're not super cheap, but if you need one and have the money, I'd recommend them over the basic version.
@@YeCatte The blue one Rae held up looks like Pentel. which is a Japanese company There are knockoffs though. I prefer the Kuretake Zig waterbrushes or the Yasumoto Niji waterbrushes. They are definitely more expensive than the generic ones --not outrageously so, but one brush might cost the same as you can spend on an entire set of the no-names. I haven't tried the Derwents, but definitely agree with you on the Caran D'Ache brushes --they don't really work that well.
hello! if you do post a video about this on your main channel, i think you should let people know that temu isnt exactly the best company morally. temu uses forced labor. they also export products from xingjiang and import the products into the US. america made it illegal for products to be imported from xingjiang, but since xingjiang has a lot of forced labor, its cheaper for temu to import anyways. temu also abuses a tax loophole called "de minimis." overall, temu is a really shady company, and i think that you should warn people about that just incase they dont wanna support a company with those practices. really cool video though!! :)
So other companies in china, DON’T use forced labor or child laborers, is that what you are saying? Temu is the only company in the world that does? I shop with Temu and I shop at Walmart and target and the dollar stores, and 99.99% of items in these stores comes from China, Vietnam, Taiwan, India, and other countries in Asia. But Temu is the only one????? If you don’t want to promote what you call forced labor, then I suggest you should only purchase products made in your country, from materials made and produced in your own country, and I guarantee you will not be able to purchase ANYTHING. Get real, people.
I wouldn’t recommend using Temu, SHEIN, etc., like, ever. Not only are their products low quality, and some just straight up scams, but they also use sweatshops and child labor.
The exact same watercolour slideable palette I found in The Range in the UK some months ago, for £3.49! I love it. It's great fun, works a treat for out and about sketching. I see fancy art UA-camrs reviewing the same product from Meeden £49.95! The same people who wouldn't dream of reviewing something from The Range 🙄 It's on sale from several UK art supply stores for £49+ too. Someone is making a killing 😅
I also saw something similar here in Germany, where some art supplies that were previously only available cheaply over the internet then appeared at Action, which is a Dutch discount store chain. I also have the feeling that since Action appeared here, other 1€ shops have improved their art materials and no longer just have a lot of 1€ stuff, but also a lot of things between 2€ and 5€ that are also much better than the previous stuff.
Id like to say that not all drop shippers do nothing other than put orders in. Some drop shipping companies actually manufacture the products to the sellers specifications, such as Art of Where producing and shipping sellers art printed on home decor and clothing products. Im sure there are other companies that do the same.
An artist that creates a design, then pays to have it manufactured by another company like Vograce or whatever isn't dropshipping, they're actively creating their own stock. I'm a professional artist, and it's unlikely I'll ever have the range of supplies a professional printer might have, nor the tools to do something like machining metal pins and keychains. Commissioning a company to manufacture your own original designs is not at all the same as someone reselling a basic product for more money on a different website and pretending it's anything but scalping. It's intellectually dishonest and insulting to conflate the two.
@@hellbreakfast For my using Art of Where its kinda my art that I designed, printed on their product that they designed, so I would hesitate to call it my own designed product. I sometimes tend to err on the side of caution though 🤷♀ I know that at least with art of where, the shipping process is still technically (and legally) drop shipping. And that term can tend to scare people off. So I give as much detail as I can to avoid confusion.
While copy cat / rip off things are one thing, every retailer buys at wholesale and sells at retail.. It's just how it works.. You can almost always find someone selling at almost wholesale pricing if you look hard enough..
@@coolkamlet4862all company buy from retailer/manufacturer and change branding or leave it as is unless have own factory. Company then sell item usually for big money compared to original pricing, but some company decide they want sell at original price instead of retail price.
Temu is the new Wish. You WILL be spammed to death, but there will also be a few vendors on the platform that are legit. Except I wouldn't know which ones, so I don't order from there. Plus sometimes they advertise cheap or even free items and than charge an exorbitant fee for shipping and handling!
@@coolkamlet4862wholesale is usually half or considerably cheaper than retail price or ‘sell price’. Example an item selling at $20 would be wholesale priced at $10 or cheaper 💕
Temu has one problem they will sell your information and most people dont kow that. If you want better prices go to who makes the item and see if they sell it direct. Some do not and sell only on things like amazon.
It’s gotten to the point where consumers need to do their due diligence before buying. For example, right now there is a tiny watercolor palette being offered on Facebook, along with a water container, magnetic clip, paintbrush, and watercolor journal. Their package deal is about $120. I just bought the exact same thing from Temu for $30. The only difference is the more expensive option also comes with tiny dabs of paint preloaded into the palette. Buyer beware! Do your research.
I would LOVE to see a video comparing "the same" items from Amazon and Temu/Wish whatever because I'm not totally convinced that they're all "the same". What if the cheaper versions are actually just lower quality ripoffs and not the same product that a name brand is slapping their label on? 🤔
This. Sometimes the cheaper item is b-stock at best, and higher-priced stuff is better finished. For example, mini lathes. They're almost all based on the same castings, but some of them are machined/calibrated better by the end-seller.
I have an idea for a video. There's this viral makeup brush that has two brushes attached to it. When using it for makeup apparently it leaves no streaks. I wonder if it does the same for paints. It's from Bdellium Tools. I think it's brush 972.
I agree i did buy very good quality embroidery hoops in small shop accessories store(craft store) in Belgrade that are cheaper in that store compared to Amazon.Temu does not good quality embroidery hoops 😂
mmm the first watercolor looks like Gansai Tambi from Kuretake which are not water colors because the binder isn't gum arabic but rather glue.(which they call resin but it used to be animal glue)
Hi Rae from Scotland, UK. I have noticed that Amazon are selling more Temu/Shein like products. It’s so difficult to make sure you are buying authentic products now on their platform. I’m probably going to cancel my Prime.
I like the warning "professional artists" lol my eye twitches sometimes when you do these videos, but you are entertaining and very much I'm here for the personality and the other perspective.
I believe not only does temu have a security issue where they steal you card info but also they have shipping fees usually unless you spend a lot of money on there meanwhile you can buy it a lot safer & get it quicker on amazon or aliexpress I love that she is trying to show and save money for us though, just temu is kind of sketchy lol
This is why I hardly buy from Amazon… I just buy from China directly (not temu) 😅 There are good watercolor paper brands in China… Like Baohong and Potentate. I’ve been using the potentate 100% cotton sketchbooks and they are great especially for the price!
You have to shop around, no matter what you buy. Also, if you shop on Amazon…make sure it says sold by and shipped from Amazon. ~ I got those brushes you put up from Amazon. They were crunchy at first but after bending them, they got soft and work really well.
Sold by and shipped by Amazon but produced in the exact same working conditions as the Temu products. Don't let them fool you. Made in China 99% of the time means bad working conditions. This isn't a Temu/Shein problem, it goes so much deeper.
I remember at a ‘how to make money’ seminar they talked up Amazon. So easy. But yes…loads of crap items filling up landfill. Sad..I also see that these crap factories provide work and $$$ to people in very poor countries. It is a way out of their poor situation. But at the cost of what? No, not meaning OUR money, more the quick fix situation that is harming the environment and is not really sustainable. Just how LONG will we buy junk stuff till we realise we are being duped. What happens to the poor in these countries when those factories shut down? It is a quick fix situation that governments are using to solve their poor problem. Great video, I love the thought behind it all👍👍
My concern with Temu is the safety issue of these items. They lack the safety requirements the U.S.A. has so I'd be concerned with toxicity or flammability.
Perhaps add shipping costs as a warning to look at. Buying from chinese companies adds always a ton of shipping costs that make the price difference with Amazon not that big. I also feel like it's easier to return items through Amazon and less hassle when things go wrong with a delivery. Don't let the critical comments get you down btw. Guess Temu stirs up quite the strong opinions, which doesn't have to do with your good intentions. It's nice how you try to think of ways to help those with less to spend. Perhaps a video about controvercial ways of using cheap supplies to make amazing art with would be interesting? Or a video on how to sell art made with cheap products? Kinda missed you making art in this one. Looking forward to the next one!😸
I think that the controversy about Temu is much more than over consumption, particularly working conditions for the people who make the products. Having said that, they have some amazing art products for the price, so I have been unable to resist a few times so not blaming you for discussing them
I could be wrong, but while reading these comments my ideas seem to be confirmed, Temu is NOT probably legit. I feel like the artists sell it to amazon or wherever amazon finds these things and Temu finds a new way to take them, but instead way underpays and mistreats their workers just to make us happy with a lower price. Not only that, but I know that they likely will steal your identity and/or credit card info, because after buying on Temu my sister all of a sudden had someone(not her) using her card and had to cancel it etc. This is a warning for anyone who wants to buy from any fast fashion website/shop, they are very likely to not be super legit.
it happened to me too i had random booking on thailand of some hotel for 6000€ thankfully i only had 100€ so i canceled the card as soon as i saw this and stoped using temu and shein beside half of stuff i got its already in trash in 1 year xd
So, even if the comparisons might make sense to the US, I can say that it's different in Europe. I can get a sketchbook I like that works for me for cheaper than the "cheap" one in this video. Cheap watercolors aren't worth it if you plan on using them to make art, only worth it if you've never tried them and want to experiment with something cheap before trying something of better quality (just go to the equivalent to the "dollar store" from the US and you should find cheap watercolors). Plus, since when it's "cheap" spending $30 on a watercolor set, just buy a winsor & newton cotman set and you'll be able to 1) have good watercolors, 2) only spend 15€, 3) actually learn to paint with watercolors, since you'll have to mix the colors to get what you want. If you still want "cheap watercolors" just go and get the cheapest children's set instead of buying off of temu. The pencils????? Sorry but why buy an almost $10 set of mechanical pencils when in most places you can buy a basic and good pencil for $1 or $2? Pretty sure you can get a set of pencils for even less than the the temu set (in fact, I found a set for 1,53€ with 12 pencils on amazon). And last, the fineliners. Just buy the ones that work for you. I got some brush pens years ago from wish to try them out without suffering the prices, liked them and switched to better ones that last me longer and do exactly what I want. You need fineliners that will work with your pieces, not just cheap ones. In the end, what I think is that there are really cheaper options out there, but you must know what you're doing with the materials, and if you plan on using them together (example: fineliners that are water resistant not always will work with alcohol markers, and viceversa). Don't buy from temu just for funsies.
Rae I know you have good intentions but I don’t think promoting these companies is a very good idea. Ofc these art supplies are decent and affordable but especially with what goes on behind the scenes I feel it isn’t ethical to encourage people to shop there :(
The point is to let you know that if you're shopping elsewhere, you could still be unknowingly buying from them because the seller simply bought it from them. She's not encouraging you to just buy directly from Temu, she's saying if you want something, look into it before buying. Cause if you don't wanna support Temu, you're still supporting them by buying from a dropshipper
Didn’t she say already in another video that she doesn’t support these companies? One of her first videos about Temu. And she literally said this is about it drop shipping and not fast fashion or Temu itself
@@dianaahakim2001I vividly remember her saying something like this in a shein video. Which makes this situation way more confusing because there’s no way she’s not aware of their scandals…
I have some handmade water colors from a seller on Etsy. They’re sparkly and fun! I also have materials to make my own, I just gotta find some time to do it.
I ordered that fan-shaped travel watercolor paint set. I paid $4.78, it was by Meidan with a water brush and pad of 100% cotton paper. It was selling for $20+ change on Amazon at the same time!
I see so many dropshippers at anime conventions, renfairs and at festivals. Its Especially Damning when theres no prices. So I picked up a cheap dusty keychain(had like mexico flag as a heart and yes literal dust on it) and it was $15??? A pen from dollar tree for $5?! The worst was when I recognize stickers from the amazon bulk sticker packs and they're selling them for $2-5 each and passing them off as their own. Really putting the Con in Convention. I got a sticker from a vendor at a convention of like Nezuko and was Surprised when it not only Wasn't from an Anime Sticker pack, it was large as my hand and good quality for the same price($5) as the vendor who was reselling amazon stickers.
You should do a video buying and comparing the same listing from Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Ali, Temu, ECT. As many places as you can find because you can find identical listings on all of them.
Well i don't care what anybody says! I love buying from Temu! I've gotten lots of great hits from them. The only time I was dissatisfied was buying pants and a belt that i checked and double checked and triple checked that i was converting my US sizing to their sizing chart and the pants and belt still came too small for my waist. Other than that, though, I have been satisfied with every tool and camping supply and such that have bought from them so far!
yesss please make a main chanel video of the travel watercolour set , ive been thinking about getting one as a gift for my friend and im not sure which ones are legit
Please don't use Temu. The workers can not be making a liveable wage if the products are soooo cheap. Even if you're not promoting overconsumption, it still results in a bad situation of essentially slave labor.
The original Tank Brush was made by Pentel in Japan. I had an original one and cheap ones - there are differences (but not huge ones). Cheap ones tend to leake more.
hey! i love your videos, however: temu is controversial because they allegedly steal your private information (name, adress, email, etc.) and sell it to third parties. That’s also the reason why the stuff on there is SO cheap. They make their money in other ways.
When I'm back in Asia, I buy everything I need that isn't branded. Basic stuff like wood carving tools, linoleum, sewing tools... Americans are being CHEATED by their retailers for the SAME products from the SAME factories literally five times the price! Then again, I also bought Holbein back there for 20% cheaper!
Thing with Temu is they most likely sell their custom information. There is also lot of piracy going on Temu, Wish and Shein etc. Is it from the factory directly or do they do the same thing that customizablle product buyers from USA do? There is so much controvercy on this.
you actually can get name-brand watercolour brushes from Derwent which are a different product entirely. I'm sure I've seen others from japanese brands as well.
Pentel Arts sells a fillable kind similar to what Rae showed. I have one that I got from Michael’s, I believe. I love Pentel gel pens as well although I might be biased because the Milky ones were the first gel pens I ever used.
I would love to see the comparison of Amazon vs temu as far as quality. I want to see which item is better quality for the different price point or of they are the same just marked up higher for being on Amazon
I'll just add, as a keen amateur artist from down under, affordable art supplies don't exist, unless we buy direct from the manufacturer. Etsy isn't a viable option as the lowest shipping price to Australia from an US supplier is US$30!
What's frustrating is that regular stores like Walmart, Hobby Lobby and even independent stores buy stock from oversea store sell it to you for a profit. How do you think you get books, clothes and electronics delivered to your home?
What? That's horrible. I haven't bought anything from them for awhile now. The clothing is getting worse and worse. It sucks to buy something made of a mystery fabric that's paper thin and scratchy and looks nothing like the picture.
7:52 to be fair the colors on the lower layers of the fan pans do look different. although that might just be the lighting. also one of the only has 18 colors(I actually have that one at home.).
I bought those exact same water brushes from Temu for my students! (They are btwn 5-7 years old) Best $2.78 ever. Also I recently discovered the Uni- pin fine liner and I love it because you don't have to hold it straight up and down to use it! It's like a normal pen.
Maries and Mont Marte are awesome beginner art supplies.. they'll paint whatever you want to paint and last well.. as long as you don't think you're some kind of DaVinci..
One problem I find with Temu is it LOOKS the same, but quality is very different. Consider a sports bra I got off Temu. It's decent and I loved the design, so I ordered a couple more off Amazon cause Temu was sold out. Yes, I paid more but you can tell from the feel, the Amazon quality was better. And the water brushes. Most of them are the same essentially, but some leak more than others, which can mess with ur art. AND Arteza sells their own brand of water brushes and HANDS DOWN is better than any others I have gotten. They work EXACTLY as intended! No leakage
Another reason that Temu is problematic is because they r literally stealing photos of other creators without their knowledge
They also stole people’s payment details!
It’s not about Temu. The same problem happens all over the internet. It’s called drop shipping. Temu is just the boogie man of the hour.

so glad people are realizing that sellers are doing this.. it rlly sucks, but my way of going about it is if youre buying literally anything reverse image search the product images (doesnt work everytime since sometimes the manufacturers copy others)
Temu delivers in a week or max 2. Usually in less than that for sure
@@Siriuslyyy I wouldn't know because I'd never sign up for temu.

You do realize the reason temu is so cheap is they literally sell your info/data …..PS apparently a lot of you don’t seem to realize it’s not just your data it’s your PERSONAL INFO , THE SAME COMPANY USED TO OWN A GAMBLING APP but got called out and shut down for stealing PERSONAL INFO from users and selling it online LIKE BANK CARDS AND IDS- they sell your cards to others and your numbers ect which isn’t the same as just collecting data to sell things to you…you may like
Let's imagine they to: If Temu gets you Info over a Dropshipper instead of directly, where would be the difference? 🤷♀
So does Amazon my bank was wiped out bc of Amazon
And,they’re fast fashion. So ALOT of child labour..;(
Temu is so cheap because you are buying direct from the warehouse with no branding r packaging. Everyone sells your data!

Whenever I buy items from either Amazon or Temu, I comparison shop between them, as they do often have the same identical products. While, unsurprisingly, the majority of the time the prices are cheaper on Temu, you'd be surprised how many art supplies actually cost MORE on Temu than on Amazon.
You should make a video all about those beautiful Etsy watercolors. Like “I bought the most beautiful watercolors” or something like that.
It's a video entitled I tested insane art supplies from Etsy.

Dollar General has really cheap good fine liners. And yesss please make a main channel video about the products you bought plus more lol
Shein also now allows 3rd parties to sell on their marketplace now. So no she wasn't wrong.
She’s not wrong?
@@cocochill1464 I'll say it again in short. People think shein and temu are the same but they do not operate again hence why it's wrong to group them all for being unethical when one doesn't really do unethical things.

This all happens because of cheap labour. I know exactly how that is, worked for a company where the cheapest item was half of our payment plus usually people ordered large quantities so you can imagine how much the boss made on our poor labour.

hello! if you do post a video about this on your main channel, i think you should let people know that temu isnt exactly the best company morally. temu uses forced labor. they also export products from xingjiang and import the products into the US. america made it illegal for products to be imported from xingjiang, but since xingjiang has a lot of forced labor, its cheaper for temu to import anyways. temu also abuses a tax loophole called "de minimis." overall, temu is a really shady company, and i think that you should warn people about that just incase they dont wanna support a company with those practices. really cool video though!! :)
Facts I’m surprised at hef promoting Temu ngl
It's the same sources for Amazon, Dollarama, dollar tree products too.
The same people who wouldn't dream of reviewing something from The Range 🙄
It's on sale from several UK art supply stores for £49+ too.

I also saw something similar here in Germany, where some art supplies that were previously only available cheaply over the internet
then appeared at Action, which is a Dutch discount store chain.
I also have the feeling that since Action appeared here, other 1€ shops have improved their art materials
and no longer just have a lot of 1€ stuff, but also a lot of things between 2€ and 5€ that are also much better than the previous stuff.
As a young artist who is broke af, shein and temu has made my life a bit easier 👁👄👁
i love how rae actually teaches us how to safe buy, what our consumption impacts on, and i actually didn't know about dropshipping
I sometimes tend to err on the side of caution though 🤷♀
I know that at least with art of where, the shipping process is still technically (and legally) drop shipping. And that term can tend to scare people off. So I give as much detail as I can to avoid confusion.
That’s not what drop shipping is….

The paint palette thing is most likely retailers white labeling rather than private label
Interesting
Never buy anything on Amazon that's being sold under many different names. It's really sad lately, and they don't seem to care about it 😢
It's still a good idea for beginner or amateur artists to consider supporting small and local businesses where possible.
I agree, sadly the big corporations have made it nearly impossible for small businesses
I agree i did buy very good quality embroidery hoops in small shop accessories store(craft store) in Belgrade that are cheaper in that store compared to Amazon.Temu does not good quality embroidery hoops 😂

Thank you for making it so clear!! 😊xx
I like the warning "professional artists" lol my eye twitches sometimes when you do these videos, but you are entertaining and very much I'm here for the personality and the other perspective.
I believe not only does temu have a security issue where they steal you card info but also they have shipping fees usually unless you spend a lot of money on there meanwhile you can buy it a lot safer & get it quicker on amazon or aliexpress
I love that she is trying to show and save money for us though, just temu is kind of sketchy lol
Yes! Please do a direct comparison from Temu to Amazon. I would love to see that
you should definitely make a video buying the same art supplies on amazon that are dropshipped and then from temu/manufacturer to see the difference!!
This is why I hardly buy from Amazon… I just buy from China directly (not temu) 😅
There are good watercolor paper brands in China… Like Baohong and Potentate.
Wow! So interesting! Thanks for the video and the great shopping tips. I learn so much just from these, I can't wait to see more!
Could you please do a main channel video comparing these to Amazon products? ❤
Having said that, they have some amazing art products for the price, so I have been unable to resist a few times so not blaming you for discussing them
I do think that even for professional artists- they need practice supplies, too!! It's a really good way to save money, I think.
I would love that foldable palette WITHOUT the paint. I don't do watercolour, I paint minis. Small, portable palettes are 💜 for going to paint nights.
i would love to see you compare the same products from different shops!!
This is a warning for anyone who wants to buy from any fast fashion website/shop, they are very likely to not be super legit.
it happened to me too i had random booking on thailand of some hotel for 6000€ thankfully i only had 100€ so i canceled the card as soon as i saw this and stoped using temu and shein beside half of stuff i got its already in trash in 1 year xd
this is why I ditched temu when I first realized and changed all my info
acting like mechanical pencils having more options than traditional pencils is just...hilarious. GIRL. There's more than just 2b bro.
The worst was when I recognize stickers from the amazon bulk sticker packs and they're selling them for $2-5 each and passing them off as their own. Really putting the Con in Convention.

Ya I’d rather not have my credentials stolen from me.
Amazon will get your items to you in two days. Temu etc. takes 10-14 days. Also, international labor laws are not my problem.
hey!
i love your videos, however: temu is controversial because they allegedly steal your private information (name, adress, email, etc.) and sell it to third parties.
I would love to see a comparison of the same products from different apps
Thing with Temu is they most likely sell their custom information. There is also lot of piracy going on Temu, Wish and Shein etc. Is it from the factory directly or do they do the same thing that customizablle product buyers from USA do? There is so much controvercy on this.
can you a amazon vs temu product comparison?
you actually can get name-brand watercolour brushes from Derwent which are a different product entirely. I'm sure I've seen others from japanese brands as well.
Pentel Arts sells a fillable kind similar to what Rae showed. I have one that I got from Michael’s, I believe. I love Pentel gel pens as well although I might be biased because the Milky ones were the first gel pens I ever used.
We definitely want an Amazon vs Temu video.
Temu stole 80.00 dollars from me !

No leakage
9:01 and im over here like "embezzlement"? 🤣
