***READ 5/11/23 UPDATE:*** We have data mined info on the new balance patches that will likely be in the live version of the game (we'll experience it during the Server Slam). I will try and put a follow-up video to all the changes but ALL of these builds in this video will still work. Certain builds, for example Sorc, will definitely not perform AS well but for the purpose of a non-legendary level 1-24 run, all these builds should still be very effective. Even post nerfs I really don't see these being far off from the best if they aren't already. Of all classes effected I feel... - Sorc is the only one that may have a completely different build for the optimal 1-24 journey, maybe Barb too. Gotta check out Whirlwind - Rogue is still top notch, the recently discovered CD nerf to Twisting Blades not the biggest deal. - Druid build may actually be stronger due to the Companion buffs. Landslide nerfed a lot but i still feel it's one of if not the best option early, the only other competitor here would be Pulverize - Necro minions dying early was already accounted for and early-game corpse explosion along with the damage scaling from minions should still make it top notch. Remember resource is the biggest gimp to all classes under 20 and Necros don't face that issue nearly as much with corpse explosions and minions (which is why they are so powerful super early game). I will of course make an updated one once we get to experience the FULL game. ------ Addressing some misinformed people/few comments here: 1) This is NOT designed for the server slam which is capped at level 20, however you can completely use this for the beta since ALL skill points are used in specific order - you would just be done at level 20 on the tree instead of level 24. NO ultimates were taken in any build as they are unlocked at level 25. Renown points give you essentially to level 22 in the builds in the video. 2) Let me be clear if it wasn't already in the video - These builds will lead you up TO the ultimate skill cluster (lvl 1-24, ultimate unlocks at lvl 25) for the purpose of giving you the most efficiency for your journey TO...NOT specifically to min-max a level 24 build. This is why taking the first 20 levels of this build for the beta test is TOTALLY fine. Ex: Let's say you get a powerful ability but at level 22, then these builds will not be catering to that skill b/c it's too late, hence me saying to start re-specing at level 25. 3) Why level 1-24? As mentioned in the video, the next level will unlock your ultimate skill cluster and at this point you SHOULD be re-specing towards either your end-game build or an upgraded one that revolves around legendary aspects you have or you plan on getting soon. The Ultimate skill cluster not only opens up more options in builds but at this point in the game you'll have legendary aspects available to you which you can build around. If you're not immediately using legendaries, these builds are 100% the way to go until level 25 at which point, i'm recommending to begin re-specing. Ignore the beta test weekend, level caps, all that...i'm recommending using these builds until level 24 (if the rule is no legendaries) then upon hitting level 25 begin re-specing. In summary: These builds were all designed for launch - your first 24 levels, with no legendaries or re-specs as the rule. At level 25 you should begin re-specing since you now have access to Ultimates and Legendary Aspects at your disposal. All of these builds are considering the latest balance changes.
I'm so excited about this game and I'm 100% going all-in with D4 as my main game. Would really appreciate subs to this channel and follows on twitch. As a thank you to guys, i'm gonna continue to give away MORE copies of D4 on twitch.tv/kanonxo - come hang out it's the official d4 waiting room. Also our D4 guild is open for recruitment and if you're looking for a community to join, our discord.gg/onehp is wide open for you (good/positive vibes only!)
The Sorcerer build is pretty much what I ended up coming up with on my own (second build) after my first attempt that started out focusing on Fireball/Hydra. CL was definitely the skill to focus on first, but I wonder how much the nerf to it will be noticeable now.
I'll be running some of my builds slightly different than these, but I think that's the beauty allowing for some free choice and different build options. 27 days!
For the druid starter I also recommend trying out pulverize+enhanced pulv + raging pulv (single point in each). This turns it into big a terramote generator with respectable overpowered AoE damage. At least in the beta, this felt more impactful than say ravens. The drawback early on is that it only starts feeling smooth after you get 1-2 points in the Abundance passive (Basic skills generate 10% more spirit).
Nice guides. In server slam (my first D4 beta) I played the decompose + minions + bone spear build suggested by raxx for killing Ashava. But I played around with corpse explosion and corpse tendrils as well since I got them through items (tendrils is so fun to use 😅). For live I plan to avoid the FOTM builds so no more bone spear and CE for me. I’ll still go full minions though but but probably going full dark alongside it (decompose and the blight pool thingy). Anyway even though the guide might be a bit outdated since it was from even before server slam, I have to give you top kudos for the effort of the detailed split screen strategy on the left and D4 skill tree on the right. Very well done and it looks super professional! 👍 New sub here, curious to see how your new guides for launch will look like.
yeah you have no idea how or what to use for leveling beyond 25. you have no way to test the events in other places, dungeons, xp from campagn, lego powers synergy or group effeciency.
100% yes. Keep in mind nerfs aren’t as impactful super early game the same reason hard hitting skills sometimes don’t seem to hit super hard at the start - scaling. Corpse explosion is insane because of the snowballing which won’t change.
I tried every build on Barb in the Beta! I really liked Upheaval for levelling. It was easy and once I started getting Legendaries I was smashing end dungeon bosses in a couple hits.
In the Druid video, you did not spec a point into enhanced earthern bulwark in your skills list, but it is marked as being taken in the video. You'll definitely want to get it, as it is your (only) source of unstoppable at this point.
great suggestion, you can definitely take this and shift everything down one if you need. Probably would be the go-to for hardcore. For soft-core i feel it wasn't super necessary for the first 24 levels and prioritized the damage output. The biggest issue with Druids in the early game are their dps which is why we went without Enhanced here for soft-core builds.
well aware server slam is to level 20, this video wasn't designed for the server slam. It's designed for launch with no legendaries leading up to the point where i'm recommending you to pivot/re-spec from. However, taking the first 20 levels from each build is completely fine since the skill points are taken in order.

I appreciate you taking the time to create the art for the skills list to match the Diablot theme 😊
So this doesnt apply to the newest beta :/
Skill points are taken in order, you can take the first 20 skills from the tree you see here
So we won’t be able to use the ultimate cluster since for this beta it’s capped at 20
correct

Great vid Kanon!! Been watching since the start of Lost Ark!! Keep up the great work!!

Great video! Thanks for all the build building you do on stream. Thanks!
Great guide! I will trying one of these when the game launches and going all in on D4 as my main game as well. Thanks
Great video Kanon! Loving your D4 content!

Do you think CE will still be viable after said nerf?

@@KanonXO thanks for the reply. It was a good vid!

Nicely done.
Sorry, but this video seems too soon. There will likely be more changes to gear and class skills before game launch.
Bro what's that mouse/keyboard pad?

Lol I’m giving you the sub because this must have taken you so much time to create, I hope your next videos are up to par
It did take a lot of time, how was this not up to par for you?

thank you so much bro!
Dont forget for server slam its not level 20 cap, u can get 2 more skills from the renown . So max cap is level 22
actually max skill points is 21. 19 from leveling up (you dont start with a skill point at level 1) plus 2 from renown
update video pls :)

Level 20 not 25 for now

Oh man, all the time you took to make these guides and you missed that this beta is locked to level 20, not 25
😂 its called copy paste content without thinking
@@LegoSPQR uhm, where would i have copied these from? There are zero guides from level 1-24, these are all original and designed from my side
