Can somebody pls help me? My bamboo fiber arrived today, but it's more cottony than powdery. 1 cup measures 32 grams only. I tried grinding it in a blender and the nutribullet but nothing happened to it. As I understand from the manufacturer, it's being used as a meat extender in processed meat like hotdogs. So i know for sure it's edible but I don't know if I can use it for bread baking.
I have to use WAY more BF to equal the grams called for in recipes. I think there must be various levels of fineness. I've been trying to match the moisture and consistency level of doughs in recipes that are fiber-heavy.
1/2 tsp is fine and when you make your next batch you can check according to how much salt you want as each person needs more or less and you will also have salt in the fillings when you make it into a wrap x

Do you drink enough water? More fiber in a diet requires more water. Too low water intake with increased fiber intake can cause abdominal problems.
