Bagheera's Tree Top Adventure

Bagheera is a feral cat who was found in a tree along a running trail in Raleigh on Christmas Eve. On 12/26 I was called to see if I could help get her down. She ended up climbing all the way to the very top and then jumping down as I got closer to her. That is not uncommon feral cat behavior. Some very nice people had taken an interest in Bagheera and were there to help with the rescue. They were holding a tarp and broke Bagheera's fall. After landing in the tarp Bagheera ran off and was apprehended by the support crew - one of whom ran barefoot across a stream twice and then caught Bagheera in her coat. They took Bagheera to the vet who pronounced her uninjured from the 50 foot fall.
