Great video on this. I’ve always just used a piece of arrow wrap and marked off yardage when I sighted in. I’ve been wanting to find a program to make my own tapes. Definitely going to get this app. Seems you can’t beat it. I’ll definitely do the yearly.
I've recently discovered your channel and have been experimenting with bend testing arrows and paper tuning. I've just ordered some 300 spine for my 60lb Elite, hopefully that fixes my horrendous right tear. Or it might just be me! I shoot fixed pins at the moment so I won't be entering the comp. but thanks for the useful content.
You can still enter, might be a reason for you to upgrade your sight 😉Go check out my record the Trophy Ridge SWFT. It’s an awesome sight for only $230
This seems very useful, but I only shoot at 20. I might get it anyway to see if I can get a tape. Who knows? Maybe I'll do some outdoor competition next year.
Maybe Santa can give you a chrono for Christmas? Then you can compare its numbers against the system you used in this video. Throwing in another variable, lol. And I will get the app. 👍👍
Hey man! Just got a hoytt axius it goes to "30 draw and I measeired my arms 77 and a half divided by 2.5 is 31. Payed a lot for it has lots of upgrades but now I'm sick is there anyway I can shoot with it being "30 or anyway to get it to be longer?
@@LeaninHayden Getting a full inch is a big ask. You can twist up the cables and get a little bit more out of it, and shoot a longer d-loop, but stretching a full inch will be challenging. You can also try to find a release that has a little longer neck. All that combined might get you an inch. But you’d have to make some sacrifices in your shooting form.
Right, but they usually aren’t very good. My new SWFT duo came with a bunch of new site tapes, problem was, none of them are right. They come in 5 ft./s increments, I didn’t have a tape that actually matched my set up. This is an easy App that allows you to get an accurate sight tape and not have to buy a $100 program to do it.
@@mat_in_texas @hhcustommuskiebaites5826 and you get to print over and over again with out having to buy a bunch of extra sight tapes you won’t use. This definitely sounds like a good deal. And seems easy to use
Regardless of weight. Electing not to install some type of speed nocks on the string, is ruining the efficiency and performance of the bow. Not having speed nocks will make your bow slower, louder, and have more vibration. I understand it’s a target rig, but the bow could feel soo much better, and be quicker.
What has been your biggest challenge with getting accurate sight tapes?

I just used to use a piece of masking tape and would walk back making marks, this is so much nicer

Hey I watched you video, great and easy to follow thanks
Thanks
Love the videos mat .
Thank you
That price is way too good! Purchased. Can’t wait to compare to factory tapes.
@@stringmusicarchery being able to dial it in exactly has been nice. Factory site tapes on my hunting bow only came in 5 foot increments.

Even just practicing at longer distances help with the 20 yd games.

I’ve been teetering between the naughty and nice list, maybe a couple good deeds will sway Santa into believing I deserve more than a lump of coal 😂

What is it with all you you tubers pushing everything through Instagram just curious
@@marvinmcafee4275 It’s 1000x easier to have personal interaction with people on Instagram than it is on here.
You just proved you don’t need this app lol. Many new sights come with a ton of pre labeled tapes all you have to do is match the one to 20 an 50

Seems unlikely your bow is shooting that slow with that light of an arrow.
