Ngannou produced 93hp which is equivalent to a small family car. People all around the World try to break his record that's stood for 5 years. Teddy Atlas gave Fury Rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10. He scored Round 3 10-8 for Ngannou, and the only other round he gave him was Round 8. It was Round 7 that Atlas struggled to score, finally deciding on a 10-10 draw. Atlas’ overall tally favored Fury for being the busier fighter.

    • @Rowdy-r2d2-John.3.16
      @Rowdy-r2d2-John.3.16 Рік тому +5

      Legendary boxing trainer Teddy Atlas doesn’t see any controversy in Tyson Fury’s win over Francis Ngannou.
      Ngannou took WBC champion Fury to a split decision in their crossover boxing match this past Saturday in Saudi Arabia, an outcome he disagrees with. The former UFC heavyweight champion knocked down Fury in Round 3 and stood toe to toe with him for all 10 rounds.
      Atlas gave Fury Rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10. He scored Round 3 10-8 for Ngannou, and the only other round he gave him was Round 8. It was Round 7 that Atlas struggled to score, finally deciding on a 10-10 draw. Atlas’ overall tally favored Fury for being the busier fighter.
      “My final score: 97-93 for Mr. Fury,” Atlas said on his show, “THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas.” “And like I said in my comments, lots of posturing, feinting, half jabs, lot of looking, could have been more even rounds possibly, but I know it’s an honest one, because I’m saying what I believe.”
      Fury insisted that he did not underestimate Ngannou, but many observers believed he looked off. Atlas views the fight as an upset because Ngannou pulled off the unexpected, but he thinks Fury didn’t take him entirely seriously.
      “Physically he did; he was in good shape,” Atlas said. “Good enough shape. But mentally he didn’t. He didn’t. I’m going to put my bottom dollar, and he won’t make an excuse. I give him credit for that. And I’m not making an excuse. Ngannou deserves every bit of credit, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Tyson Fury was compromised in a way that, as a human being, that he too thought it was going to be a fun thing, a money grab.
      “It was going to be where he does what he wants. He wants to end it; he ends it. He wants to play, he wants to do an Ali shuffle, whatever he wants to do, he could do it. There was going to be nothing to worry about. … You can’t say it’s going to be an easy day because you’re going to get screwed."

It’s almost as if you believe in fate and destiny, Mike a retired champion and legend going into the later years of his life questioning whether training other fighters and becoming the “rocky” figure has indeed found a younger fighter with a similar upbringing who fought all his life to get to this moment. Mike definitely sees the potential and it’s bringing back out that youthful spirit in him and I think it’s genuinely making him happy and at peace. Purposefully wanting Francis to achieve the goal he’s setting out for… This is indeed amazing to watch.

    Another masterpiece from Iron Mike and Team! 5:16 When Billy White says, "Along this journey, Francis is going to become a boxing professional World Champion, mark my words", I got chills because this man has seen it all and you can tell he sees something in Francis that he once saw in Mike. He truly believes it and I truly believe he is right.

    Mike is in his 60's and you can see he still has incredible power, quickness and intensity. He oozes knowledge and wisdom not only in the ring but in life too...he knows the evil that awaits and can lure you. He looks like a man who could truly embrace coaching maybe even more than he did fighting as long as he has the right pupils. I don't know who Cus D'amato was as a person or a coach but its almost like Mike is a different person watching him in this video and I'm wondering if what we're watching here is Cus D'amato?

      Yes, you are 100% witnessing the spirit of D'amato manifested inside of Mike Tyson. No ego like Mike had from the old days, no ruthless animosity (outside of demonstrating his technique lol). Just patience, wisdom, brotherhood. Listen how he calls him "beautiful", just like what Cus said to Mike. Nothing but confidence building and the sweet science. What an amazing showing from Ngannou.

      Was thinking the same. When I boxed my coach told me: "Think of the hand as a bullet - fire and accelerate, don't force and benchpress. A hit starts with the calves, moving through ham/quads, rotation of obliques, the pecs and the triceps. A chain rection where you fire every muscles with milliseconds apart. Dont wrestle, pull the trigger.". This was in 1986.
