Mike is literally trying to pass on as much knowledge and wisdom to Francis as he possibly can. You can tell he respects Francis, and Francis admires Mike as a role model. Just like Mike in the past, Francis now holds the title of the “Baddest man on the Planet”. Passing of a torch in a way

I had the opportunity to meet Francis In 2018 a week after his loss to Derek Lewis. I was at the vegas airport waiting for a connecting flught and saw him. I approached him nervously, he had his headphones in so I had to signal to him that I wanted to photo. He seemed confused at first, but then realized what I was asking
For and humbly abliged. I then proceeded to tell him how I felt bad for his loss the previous week but told him how I had no doubt he would be champion one day. I looked at me blankly and then went on to apologize to me? I didn’t understand but he was saying sorry for letting me down. Never in my life would I expect a ufc fighter to be so real with me.

Mike doesn't even talk clearly, Ngannou understood maybe 5% of what he said.
Look at Ngannou's facial expression, Mike interupts plenty of times, and you can see that Ngannou dont understand everything when Mike talks because of the lisp + Mike talks fast and not clear.

It takes a special person to get out of a routine life, a country full of bad politicians, a person that tells u that you’re only capable of being a farmer, a country with a poverty class between extremely rich and extremely poor. Francis had a dream, he sold his motorcycle - an important resource that generated income, went to another country as a dirt poor foreigner and took a ‘go for broke’ chance to pursue his dream.
