I got the Idea from youtube I also..Seen a video where the guy had a piece of pipe holding the door shut and it slid out the wall in a secret way ..I have a back up way to use the latch below my lock
I put a handle on my shop door just like yours. But on the inside, I made a D handle to open and close it on from the inside. I like the use of the old wrench.
I seen the tee handle on the internet but the store had none of the d handles I could make one and weld it to the wrench ..I mounted a handle just above the wrench
@@not2fast4u2c When I bought my shop it was used and the doors were taken off. The guy at the shed sales asked me if I wanted to buy doors and a locking handle. He seemed to get upset when I told him no I'd just build them myself. he wanted 50 bucks just for the T-handle. LOL
I like that idea, I think I might steal it!! I'm using the same hasp method now, I'm surprised I don't have little critter problems!!☺

Any ideas about how to do this without needing to weld?
That handle works great on the shop door
Thanks keeps it closed tight for in the winter
That should work good the only problem with drilling the heads of the screws out is how would you remove it if you ever needed to.
If I had to remove it I would just destroy it with a grinder disc..I did epoxy the screws just in case someone would try to tamper with it
How’s the burglar going to deal with the buckshot rounds though?
