One of the greatest live performers ever
Not just one of...THE greatest ever.
The most exciting and wonderful halftime show ever.
Bruce's halftime show remains one of my favorites, he kept the party going the whole time & it was very enjoyable. Although maybe that's because I'm a Bruce fan ;)
+Alyssa T nope. it WAS the best....and briefest and least expensive!
+Alyssa T Just went to my first Bruce concert on Sunday, he is without a doubt the best concert I've ever been to. It's all about the music and his fans. He's amazing!
The most electric, captivating, lovable storyteller of our time. I truly wish I was there. What an amazing performer. What a hero. What a legend.
Going into the Super Bowl that year, I wasnt sure how Springsteen was going to be for the halftime show. I have never seen a guy just take the stage and atmosphere over the way he did for a halftime performance
When it's halftime of the Super Bowl (whatever the number is for the current year) this is the ONLY halftime show I'll be watching for as long as I'm living!
Bruce Springsteen wasn't at the super bowl, the super bowl was at a Bruce Springsteen concert.
Lol hell ya well said
I had the opportunity to volunteer to put the stage together for this show. We had to meet several times to go thru dry runs. The Friday before super bowl we did the set up on the field. If that wasn’t cool enough, Bruce did a full show to be taped in case there was a problem Sunday. There’s snippets in this video. We had the privilege to watch it in the rain. It was better than the Sundays show. I worked right next to Kevin Buell (guitar tech) and just starred at that Fender esquire. Cool
Wow that’s awesome! Also how tf do you guys put the stage together so fast lmao, it’s incredible :D
I was part of the dancing crew in front of the stage! What a week of rehearsals huh? Amazing fun show

this is the best halftime show ever!!!! and hes from my hometown
Preformed in my hometown!
Prince had the best.
Greatest 12 min 🎸.. no BS around just pure music!
If Springsteen sang during an NBA All-Star game halftime show singing “Glory Days,” he would change the lyrics to “I had a friend who was a big B-ball player, back in high school! He could make that slam dunk baby, makin love Luke a fool!...
The best halftime show in Super Bowl history. (I'm biased)
Once in a lifetime chance to see the boss and this remarkable group
As a Steelers AND Bruce fan it just didn't get any better than that day... Still get goosebumps.
Hell yeah Pittsburgh Steelers and Bruce Springsteen couldn't have asked for a better experience than that.
Power, energy and love of music! Still feeling it.
Hate to call the Boss second best - but the Prince half time was insane - that said Bruce managed to condense his 3 hour plus shows into 2o minutes - truly a classic.
Fantastic at 60 years old
This has to be the best super bowl halftime show of all time, maybe Michael has him beat but this is just, wow
When life is good, life is GOOD!
The Boss! ❤
I was there as part of the dancing volunteers in front of the stage but I never saw a video where I could see my 6 friends and I who were in it. Such an amazing thrill and what a goddamned amazing show! 12 minutes of pure rock and roll 🎸
PUT THE CHICKEN FINGERS *DOWN*
Rock on, Sil! Rock on!
2:49 i will tell my kids this is Gemma from SOA.
Can’t get any better than the boss!
One of the best Superbowl halftime shows EVER! It's in my Top 3 Best! Awesome!
Probably the best after Prince - and I am a huge BRUCE fan - he managed to capture the essence of his 3 hour plus shows in 20 minutes or so!
@@tonystfa Agreed! Bruce is my 2nd favorite too
It’s one of the best Superbowl Performance of All Time. I wasn’t expecting this to be good.. but it turned out so well.
and the Steelers won it AGAIN that year!!! Steelers & Springsteen, cant go wrong with that
Is there an HD version of the full performance anywhere? I can't find it
That’s why he’s The Boss!!
Best one
best superbowl and halftime show
Who else is here after the coronavirus and answered no to this 2:06
I get to the end of the video and now all I can think about is the Max Wienberg Seven.
Love Bruce & E street band
...... and there hasn't been a great Super Bowl performance since. The legacy ended w/ The Boss.
Bruno Mars was pretty damn good
I agree
Beyoncé? lady Gaga? They were amazing too
@@vic2958 Terrible compared to him
@@KleWdSide not in my book.
Way better than Shakira and JLo
Questo video bellissimo!! Bruce fantastico!! 😅😅😍😍😘😘💘💔♥️💯💯
Greatest Super Bowl performance ever
The Boss
Already performed at the Punchbowl
The good news is there a DJ in the casa for a few min and this ones for Emily I think a concert would do you good and this ones also for my musician friend that loves this dude !
I sing pink Cadillac at karaoke lol !
And another good thing after that Pittsburgh one there sixth champion
Do Prince's Superbowl
THAT WAS GREAT I LOVE IT BRUSE AND I LOVE YOU BAND A YOU WIFE GOOD SEE YALL !!!!GOOD PEOPLE !!
It was the best of all time
To think that why not he have done it at Super Bowl 48 (XLVIII) when it was at MetLife stadium in Jersey not taking anything away from Bruno mars he had a great performance could it almost had been a no brainer for Bruce to do it 4 years later instead of then that’s really the one I would take away from it rewatching it a bunch of times
Clarence wouldn’t have been there though.
I like the way you're thinking of this, but Super Bowls are usually only planned two to three years in advance. Plus, the shift towards the artists they have now, I don't think Springsteen would have been a thought, even as The Boss.
Oh so we skipped glory days ?
IT'S THE BOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
27*
Lukas Laskowski
where is the beyonce one?
you're a class acw. c'mon2 bite-sized heap what's your opinion about this, guys 1!
Second
almost first
w7 sec
First
who dat?
Turned off the TV for this years half time show. That was BORING. Came back to watch the boss again.
Sounds like a dying cat in an alley .
I’m sorry if I’m speaking blasphemy, or if there are just a lot of old heads in the comments, but I’ve never been a Springsteen fan, he looked like he had fun, but it was kind of just alright. He has no vocal range and was drowned out by his own band so I could barely hear him at times and it was pretty messy. I preferred Paul McCartney’s as his seemed planned and everything went smoothly and you could hear him and he got the crowd involved better. Better than The Rolling Stones I guess
i’m also not a fan of him but he was way out of his prime don’t expect him to have beyoncé vocal cords
I'm the guy who wrote the lyrics to Born in the USA. I gave them to Steven Van Zandt in 1982. I told him it would take the band to the Superbowl. Bruce and Steven never paid me a red Cent. That makes him a bum. Iron American Dream on UA-cam. Share it. Take a ride across the promised land.
you're a clown, keep dreaming of what you never did but would have wished to do... and search for help
Rolling stones are better
