I remember back in 2004 to 2011, when Maroon 5 was my favorite band. In recent years, I can't think of a more obnoxious and unengaging band than them - specially Levine. They've lost all of their charm, all that used to make them great.
So what you need to realize is that half time shows are not made for the football fans, but the people who do not give 2 effs about the game. It's about bringing in more viewers who would otherwise not even waste any time watching the game. So they run the special ads & half time because = money. The only time I ever watched the Superbowl was 5 times because of the halftime shows. 1. The New Kids which all my friends & myself who didn't like football at all were home watching because of them. 2.Michael Jackson. 3. Nsync, Britney & Aerosmith 4. Justin & Janet 5. Justin's tribute to Prince.
One reason the fail is that they try too hard. Micheal did the entire show himself. Now you need several guest starts so it is Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Dr. Dre. There are so many people tripping over each other no one is given a chance to actually shine.

It's about bringing in more viewers who would otherwise not even waste any time watching the game. So they run the special ads & half time because = money. The only time I ever watched the Superbowl was 5 times because of the halftime shows. 1. The New Kids which all my friends & myself who didn't like football at all were home watching because of them. 2.Michael Jackson. 3. Nsync, Britney & Aerosmith 4. Justin & Janet 5. Justin's tribute to Prince.

One reason the fail is that they try too hard. Micheal did the entire show himself. Now you need several guest starts so it is Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Dr. Dre. There are so many people tripping over each other no one is given a chance to actually shine.

It looks so bad cause they have so many gaps in the background, and everything is spread out.
